Great mods for an Awesome game
10 items
Description
This mod lets you control the ennemies more easily, by diminishing their armor and buffing their life.
Note that you'll have to deal the exact same damage to kill them.

In my opinion, the current Armor system favors 1 damage type parties (either physical or magical), in order to maximise the damage output and the controls' ability.
On top of that, control mages can have a much harder time than melee (especially warfare), as they'll need to chip the magic armor away, before beginning to be usefull to the team.
This mod lets you diversify your playstyle, without feeling gimped.

In details:
I modified the ArmorBoost, MagicArmorBoost and Vitality of all ennemies.

Vanilla:
Explorer : -50% Armor and Magic Armor, -40% Vitality
Classic : no change
Tactician : +50% Armor, Magic Armor and Vitality

Mod :
Explorer : -75% Armor and Magic Armor, -23% Vitality
Classic : -50% Armor and Magic Armor, +33% Vitality
Tactician : -25% Armor and Magic Armor, +100% Vitality

In order to understand these numbers, let's take an example.
Generally, ennemies' best armor is around 2/3 of their life; for example 100 armor and 150 life.

I divide his armor by 2, taking away 100 / 2 = 50 armor.
I add this lost armor to life, as I want the total damage to kill, to stay the same : 150 + 50 = 200 life.
As a final result, the mob will have 50 armor and 200 life.
Applied to all the different difficulty settings, we get the modded numbers.

Compatibility :
Not compatible with "Easier Tactician & Explorer Modes", as both mods change the same values.
Choose depending on your personnal tastes. :)

Note :
You need to start a new game when activating this mod, otherwise the ennemies will miss a part of their health.
If you want a version which doesn't modify the health, thus not needing a new game, you can use this mod :

(Both mods are obviously not compatible.)

Frequently Asked Questions :

- "When I activate this mod without starting a new save, the monsters don't have full health".
Here's what you can do, if you want him to be updated on your current playthrough:
1- save your game
2- disable this mod, in the main menu
3- load your game (might take some time)
4- save
5- reactivate this mod
6- load your game (might take some time)
7- install this mod (not mine)

- "This mod is too hard, I can't win any fight".
This mod is meant to be played in Classic difficulty or less, it's not balanced for Tactician.
For new players, I advise finishing Act 1 first, to better understand the game's mechanics, before installing this mod on a new playthrough.

- "Can you make a version of this mod which does X instead of Y?"
I'm currently working on multiple mods and don't have time for personnal requests, sorry.

- "When loading the mod for the first time, my game takes a long time to load".
This is normal, you'll have to wait up to 10 minutes, but it'll only happen once.

It does not work in DE. Author stated they do not currently have the ability to update.

Does it work for DE? Is there even need for it in DE?

Just out of curiosity, is there going to be a Definitive Edition version worked on?

Tom Bombadil : yes they're compatible.
[ENEMY STANDO] : I think you should try your mods 1 by 1, to see where the issue is.

I'm assuming it is sinse they're both your mods but is this one compatable with tougher bosses?

I'm not sure if this mod is causing it, but for some reason Ifan's got ridiculous physical and magic armor stats from nothing, like right now in my campaign it just sits at 127/377 and never fills all the way. And it's only Ifan this is happening to. I've tried starting a new campaign but it stills happens.

Does piercing damage need to be increased in order to maintain balance?
