▀▄ Looking for a fun and challenging Civ6 game experience? Then this collection is exactly what you need! Just subscribe to all 45 mods while making sure no other mods enabled, and play. Following game settings are recommended for 1st playthrough: ▄▀
  • Ruleset: Standard Rules.
  • Game Difficulty: Emperor – in case you're an experienced player. If you feel like you're not, then King or lower.
  • Speed: Standard, Quick or Online.
  • Map type: Continents.
  • Map Size & # of AI Civs: Small with 5 AI is bare minimum in order to make Domination Victory a challenge it's supposed to be. So feel free to start with even bigger map and more than 5 AIs if you wish.
  • City-States: Standard amount.
  • Resources: Abundant.
  • World Age, Start Position, Temperature & Rainfall: Standard.
  • Sea Level: Low.
  • Trigger Visibility: Visible for researchable (a feature from Real Eurekas mod).
All the rest should be left on default (which are);
  • Victory conditions: All enabled.
  • Limit turns: By Game Speed.
  • No Duplicate Leaders & Teams Share Visibility: Enabled.
  • No Barbarians, No Teams & No Tribal Villages: Disabled.
It's important for you to try with this setup at first, because then you should be able to get a pretty good impression of what I have tried to achieve with this collection.

Here's a sum-up of the most crucial parts how the collection affects to vanilla Civ 6:

- AI is basically being fixed, thanks to More Strategy Mod and above all its creator
- Tech & Culture advancement properly balanced
- Randomness and unforeseeability of the progression of game events notably increased
- All in all, overall difficulty level of the game also notably increased due to numerous factors

If you have any good questions I will answer as well as I can. Otherwise I suggest to keep reading and learn more... because I've provided a lot of useful information for you to read. Or in case you're a type of person who just wants to dig in and give it a go, then by all means ;) Either way, good luck and I hope you enjoy the game as much as I do!

I have built this collection around a core which is composed of 2 mods; "More Strategy" and "Improvements Patch". As it turns out, they happen to work together incredibly well and are absolutely crucial parts of this collection. Although they are definitely not enough if you look a the big picture. The rest of these mods are also crucial, especially as a whole, but they have a kind of different purpose compared to core mods: they tweak the overall gameplay balance and UI of the basis game (set by core mods) in an appropriate way so that the whole game feels complete, challenging and inspiring - frankly if you ask me, the way it always should have been from the day of release.

There can't be one without the other. And this is the way it should be. I prefer to use only a few mods which make kind of big changes to the game, supported by a much larger amount of so called medium-sized or smaller mods. This way it's actually possible to control the overall balance of the game yourself. Besides, I don't like the idea of concentrating so called power of deciding about too many things just on the hands of one modder. Making a whole complete, what ever we're talking about here, must be a team effort!


IMPORTANT:
If (or dare I say when) you have found yourself enjoying this collection in some form or the other and, perhaps(?) want to make me happy in the process, please consider to give a positive vote for it - and don't forget the 45 mods included, for them too, obviously! FYI: Branding image of this collection will be changed from time to time - most likely at the time of any more or less significant update. I find it quite fascinating to carry out experiments with colouring of the basic Civ6-artwork in fresh new ways!
