[OBSOLETE] Fallout New Vegas Weapon Soundpack (Quieter Edition)

Description
As of June 13th, this version of the Fallout New Vegas Soundpack is no longer being supported in favor of the Definitive Edition. It is being kept online for archive purposes.

Last update: May 24th, 2019

Definitive Edition: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1769400907

========================================
I know I said it was unlikely that I would do something like this but the original version got in the way of another sound mod I made and I wanted to use both.

This version brings all the sounds of the original mod down to around the same volume levels as the default. This means they shouldn't start cancelling each other out when things get heated.

Find the original version here for a preview video and more information:

Update Instructions
========================================
In the event of an update (check the date on the Change Notes) and this is NOT your first time installing, here's how to update:

1. Go back to the following directory:
C:\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\232090\1749141977\

2. Select all the .bnk files (just to make sure you don't miss any updates), right-click and select "Cut"

3. Go to the following directory:
C:\Users\Username\Documents\My Games\KillingFloor2\KFGame\Published\BrewedPC\WWiseAudio\Windows\

4. Paste the new files there. If asked to override, click "Yes to All".

5. You're done!

========================================
Installation Instructions

3. Exit KF2

4. Go to the following directory:
C:\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\232090\1749141977\

5. There you will see several .bnk files, select all of them, right-click, and click "cut" (or simply CTRL+A & CTRL+X).

6. Go to the following directory:
C:\Users\Username\Documents\My Games\KillingFloor2\KFGame\Published\BrewedPC\WWiseAudio\Windows\
NOTE: If you are missing any directories/folders, create them!

8. You're done installing!

Enjoy!

Oh yeah, just a description error. The installation process is pretty much the same for most of these so I just copy+paste the instructions & change the IDs. Looks like I missed the IDs this time, thanks for pointing these out!

Hm. The file directory does not come up as "1733560705."
Rather, I find the new files within "1749141977."
Perhaps, an error in your description, or is something wrong?

Damn man, you've been really putting in work lately. I can't wait for this definitive version, really brings a new joy to the game when your guns don't sound like Kroger-Brand Toys.

Yeah, I made sure they're still on the loud side. I'm actually doing a major audio rebalance for this version, making it more "definitive", I'll be taking more care into rebalancing the audio so it's all consistent, as well as restoring echos and keeping the fumbling/rattling noises.

Figured. The impact sounds are amazing, but I noticed during play, you can't enjoy the punch of your .45 tearing through Zeds with how loud the sounds are, kind of bummed me out.
In that case, I'll be installing this right away. I do hope the weapon sounds aren't *too* quiet, though. I like it when guns have that kick to them in games, if you get me?

It is, actually!

This is to stop the weapons from drowning out the new (old) impact noises, correct?

Patrolling the Biotics Lab almost makes you wish for an objective mode
