Description
Attention! Development of this mod is now finished with it's 1.3 update. I will instead be shifting my focus over to working on a more module approach to it. For example, UNSC weapons, armor, buildings, etc, will be included in their own mod, separate from things like Covenant weapons and armor. Even so, this mod will remain available, but will no longer receive updates. I will provide a link to future mods based on this one in the description below as they become available.

There are a few small bugs and unfinished aspects of this mod, but nothing game breaking as far as I'm aware. If something there is something horribly wrong however, I will do my best to correct that at the very least. (Don't want anyone's game being ruined.)

The first module of a Halo-Themed overhaul to Rimworld.

Mod Status:
Temporary Hiatus: Life's busy for me at the moment, I'll be hoping to have at least one update per month for this mod, but I can't guarantee that.

What this mod adds:
Currently, this mod add in a series of weapons from both the UNSC and Covenant. Additionally, it includes four different sets of UNSC armor/clothing. The various weapons all have their iconic sound effects from their respective games with artwork made by myself.

    How to Acquire Weapons/Armor:
    The weapons and armor included do not spawn in the world and must be crafted at the moment. Once proper factions have been created, then these items will be distributed amongst them appropriately.
    A new category is included in the architect menu labeled "HALO". Here you will find a UNSC and Covenant workbench for crafting the respective groups items.
    Before you can craft them however, you will need to complete the appropriate research. With UNSC Weaponry being a late industrial tech, and Covenant Weaponry being a late, spacer tech.

    Disclaimer: Some weapons do not have the same features as they do in game/lore. Specifically, Needler's will not cause a supercombine, and Carbine Rounds do not cause radiation/toxic build-up in targets. I would like to have said functions in these weapons, but I will need to spend time learning how to code C# for Rimworld in order to do so.

    Additionally, the weapons have been balanced, or attempted to be, to fit alongside the Vanilla weapons in Rimworld. That said, I am very much taking inspiration from how these weapons function in game and lore. Meaning Plasma Weapon should be extremely lethal and the like.

    (In)Compatibilities:
    • Combat Extended: No, and don't hold your breath. I don't use that mod, and I'd rather spend time working on adding and expanding upon this rather than patching it for Combat Extended. Sorry.
    • [O21] Halo: Aside from have duplicate versions of weapons/armor, this mod should not have any problems being run alongside it.
    • Multiplayer: Yep, should work absolutely fine for multiplayer!
    • Everything Else: As far as I'm aware this mod shouldn't conflict with any other mods I know of.

    Okay Enough Talking:
    -Thanks for bothering to read through all this. This is my first mod for Rimworld, and I'm very much excited to have it finally up on the workshop. I don't have tons of time to playtest every single part of this, so your feedback would go a long long way to helping me make this mod better! I can't resarch the covenant weapons neither i can't fabricate them. I have the UNSC workbench, but no Covenant workbench. So where is the problem and how can I fix it? Can somebody help me?

1.4 sound fix: In "World_Oneshots_Weapons_Halo.xml", change all instances of "AudioGrain_Folder" to "AudioGrain_Clip" and all instances of "clipFolderPath" to "clipPath".
