Description
This is an Alpha 12 (CPU tier 2 / level 10) variant of jrandall's Waypoint Compound.
Original BP: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1811935525

Have you outgrown your starter base, but aren't ready to go all the way to CPU Tier 3 or 4 yet?
Why not squeeze all you can out of CPU Tier 2?
Why not do it inside one of jrandall's beautiful bases that also provides room to grow into Tier 3?

Here is my answer to those questions...

Consider this while reading further - I brought CPU down from 350k+ to just under 200k - sacrifices had to be made!
Change list from original:
~ Removed one of the 320k storage systems (cargo extensions are CPU heavy!).
~ Removed everything that required rare resources - You'll still need a small dash of neo, cobalt and titanium
~ Added several LCD projectors throughout for a more up to date feel and removed several old style LCD displays. Left a few for nostalgia
~ Whittled down production equipment to fit under the CPU cap
~ Moved the 30mm turrets to the roof and removed the Flak turrets
~ Moved ammo controller to where storage bay 3 used to be
~ Added motion sensors where they were missing and reconfingered all the existing ones
~ Added exposed fuel and oxygen tanks for direct filling
~ Removed all tier 2 fuel and oxygen tanks, but added more than enough tier 1 to make up for it
~ Added individual grow light switches for each grow plot grouping
~ Removed 27 grow plots - not the spaces, just the plots to make the blueprint easier to complete
~ Added 2nd small generator
~ Removed several old style cargo boxes (who knew they were so CPU spendy!?)
~ Added a couple small cargo pallets to liven the place up and give you somewhere to store things you want to keep organized separately
~ Added small constructor (and space for a 2nd) to reconfigured manufacturing wall
~ Added structural layer underneath base for assistance on uneven terrain and added guide line to bury to proper depth - make sure you can't see the line
~ Added small parking bay in hangar where deconstructor spaces were
(That's my hover boat parked there, oh so perfectly!)
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1455561668
~ Downgraded armored concrete to regular concrete due to CPU costs
~ Added lever where Furnace will be and connected a projector to show when the furnace is on
~ Moved core and added CPU Tier 2 block and markings for T3 placement when you're ready
~ Tweaked textures and colors to suit personal preference while respecting the original design
~ Tweaked lighting and added additional lighting in a few places
~ Updated "Legend" LCD to reflect changes I've made
~ Added a few little things that made me say "neat!" when I was done with them - have fun poking around

I will add to this list as I remember other changes I've made.
Let me know what you think or if you have suggestions

Excellent job! After browsing a bunch of the top bases on the shop I finally settled on this lovely remake of a classic. It's wonderfully organized, has exactly what I need and lots of room for upgrading! (VERY IMPORTANT to me.)

Thanks for this!

Living quarters? I would rather not sleep on the hanger deck. :)

Added to my scenario. Thank you for this update to the base!

so, did some checking, the 8 titanium rods are all from the flux coils inside the T2 CPU block you installed, so unless one wanted to remove them, there isnt any left that can be removed.

@crimsonjackel, thanks again. I've replaced that block.

Thanks for the heads up! They can be hard to track down.

found a hardened steel block next to elevator shaft, on top of the building(just to the side of the turret). Looking for more. Those damned things cost a decent amount of titanium. will let you know if I find more.

Thanks, Kontaro, but this isn't intended to be a level 7 base. This one is meant to come pre-equipped with those next tier items. If you're after a level 7 base in particular, might I suggest a different jrandall base I've updated? https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2103681680
