Description
Spiff's Practical Engineered Solutions, a division of the Weyland-Yutani Corporation, presents the Flea Hydro Miner as a minimalist design that is used as a very early survival game miner to significantly enhance the player's ore detection and extraction process in space. Where resources are scarce, hydrogen thrusters are used in lieu of ion thrusters. The connector is necessary for recharging the battery by connecting to another grid's power supply, and for the convenience of dumping acquired ore.

The Flea Hydro Miner is a pure vanilla build without DLC, rotors, and/or pistons, and is comprised of the following small-grid components and parts, all of which can be built using a basic assembler:

SPECIFICATIONS
PCU - 1,891
BLK - 86

1 cockpit
1 O2/H2 generator
2 drills
1 connector
1 large battery
2 medium cargo containers
2 gyroscopes
20 small hydrogen thrusters
1 antenna
1 ore detector

NOTES FOR BUILDING WITH A PROJECTOR
1. Build a battery, then build a rotor attached to the battery; remove the large rotor head and replace it with a small rotor head (see the last picture). Alternatively, attach the rotor to a powered large grid.
2. Build a minimum of 2 armor blocks on top of the small rotor head to provide adequate vertical clearance for the projection, then add a projector on the top block with the front of the projector facing away from the battery; the front is denoted by a vertical gray stripe.
3. Load the blueprint and set the projector's vertical offset to -1; the projector should end up directly below the armor block (see the last picture).
4. Build the miner.
5. When complete, remove the projector.
6. You're done! Take your first step in dominating the universe.

If I had a nickel for every mistake I've made, I'd be rich. Not a problem. I have a bunch of other small miners; one of those may suit your purpose.

I apologise to you Mr Spiff, I should have paid better attention it was all there in front of me. Thank you for not ridiculing me in front of everyone, you show class sir.
Cheers again.

Sorry about the confusion. Read the first sentence again: "...is used as a very early survival game miner to significantly enhance the player's ore detection and extraction process in space ." Again, I'm sorry the description wasn't more clearly written.

Thanks for allowing me access to your neat and tidy little driller mate, unfortunately I couldn't get it to lift off. There just seemed to be not enough flames out the back to get it off the ground. It was still a nice looking ship.
Thanks anyway. Cheers mate.

Yup, you can use this, too, and anything else.

You have some attractive Fleas ... I have no popcorn to offer you now but if you were ok with letting me use this H2 Flea to go where no man has gone before then I'd gladly try to compensate you with popcorn. I will not attempt intellectual property theft nor any other sneaky bugger stuff. I reckon you're the kind of bloke that would help another out so I'm going to grab a copy now, normally I'd wait to hear back before DL'ing the BL but I have a serious itch. If you are unhappy with my methods then drop me a line and I will apologies and remove all of your Flea stuff from my comp. Cheers mate, Biv.

Sorry, I never intended it for planetary use. I would have needed to add a hydrogen tank. Consider using my Popcorn miner for early survival play:

Looks beautiful, but it does not work in survival. There is not enough hydrogen production to keep the ship in the air while pressing the forward thrust. It needs more hydro.

Nice! I always love minimalist miners.
