Attacking team need to capture all flags one by one as defenders defend one by one.
Defenders need to drain attackers tickets to zero. (thats 1200 kills if playing EPIC match length,goes faster than you might think).
After a flag is taken the next part of the map opens up and the next flag is fought over with defenders being dug in ready to halt the attackers push.

NOTES TO PLAYER:

ABOUT RUSH MODE AND WHAT MAKES IT GREAT:

This mode is actually a challenge VS AI. Often youll be outnmbered,dieing and having to respawn back at last owned flag and pushing forward again. Or defending and often flooded and outnumbered by angry vicious attackers all converging on you at once(with armor).
-You need to move tactically if attacking.

- Watch for enemy flanks if defending.

-The use of smoke grenades is now essential,whereas in point match/conquest AI using them barely ever mattered,here they do,even(especially) on bigger maps.

-Being grouped so close to fiendlies at all times means you(and they) benefit from ammo/health bags being dropped.

Setting traps with C4 is now vaiable more often because of the nature of the objective.

Suppressing enemy high concentration areas really matters in order to "distract" clumps of squads away from your friendlies tryna cap a point or defend from attackers flanks

Stun grenades now are more important as alot of the time enemy and friendly will be within punching distance of each other.

IF YOUR DEFENDING,PTFO AND DEFEND THE OBJECTIVE(NEAREST FRIENDLY FLAG TO ATTACKERS OWNED FLAG)

IF YOUR ATTACKING,ATTACK THE NEAREST FLAG TO YOUR CURRENT OR NEW OWNED OBJECTIVE.

AI DEFENDERS WILL NOT ATTEMPT TO CAPTURE ANY FLAGS AND WILL ONLY DEFEND IN A LARGE RADIUS AROUND ONE FLAG(THE FLAG THATS CURRENTLY THE FRONTLINE)

THIS MODE REQUIRES A FEW SETTINGS TO BE SET WHEN LOADING A GAME FOR BALANCE REASONS. THEY ARE AS FOLLOWS....

MODE : BATTLE
LENGTH: LONG OR EPIC
RESPAWN TIME: 20 SEC
BALANCE: DEFENDERS NEED SLIGHTLY LESS BOTS,MOVE SLIDER LOW BUT DONT REMOVE ANY SILOHETES OF SOLDIERS IN THE BALANCE SCREEN,SLIDER CIRCLE SHOULD BE OVER THE HEAD OF THE MIDDLE RAVEN SOLDIER IN BALANCE SCREEN(TINKER WITH THIS UNITL YOU FIND A BALANCE YOUR HAPPY WITH,PROPOSED SETTINGS ARE TESTED WITH AI V AI AND NO PLAYER ON EITHER TEAM)
CONFIGURE FLAGS: DONT YOU DARE

DO NOT USE SQUAD LEADER KIT TO TELL TEAM WHERE TO GO.THEY ALREADY KNOW THE DRILL.

IF YOU CHANGE ANY OF THESE SETTINGS RESULTS MAY VARY,SUCH AS DEFENDERS BEING TOO CAPABLE OR NOT CAPABLE ENOUGH.AS ATTACKER YOU MIGHT NOT EVEN GET PAST THE FIRST OBJECTIVE,THIS IS NORMAL,ITS MEANT TO BE TOOTH AND NAIL.THE FLAGS ARE REDUCED IN NUMBER BUT THE CAPTURE AND DEFEND AREAS ARE MUCH LARGER THAN CONQUEST.

THIS IS A FAR MORE DIFFERENT XPERIENCE THAN CONQUEST AND THE ONE I AS WELL AS MOST BC2 PLAYERS PREFER,BUT ISNT REALLY IN RAVENFIELD BY DEFAULT,SO FEEDBACK WELCOME.

Battlefield friends,im extremely happy to give you,the greatest ever made MP shooter map,made by the DICE of old, Battlefield Bad company 2 Arica Harbor. I felt i was at a point in map design that i could finally tackle this beast and so i did,and the result is the most life like Arica harbor that can possibly be made with only using the Vanilla Ravenfield editor. Please understand,EVERYTHING building wise(and more) was painstackingly hand made and textured by me,the amount of alt tabbing i did to BC2 Arica harbor wiki and many ....many Youtube videos to get reference for ths map,was insane. But i feel i nailed it. Whats more,is that the AI have been given paths to every single nook and cranny,every building,every staircase,its a truly remarkable experience playing Rush on this map within Ravenfield,it really feels like old times.

Guys please dont forget to rate this map if you like it,i poured my heart and soul into it.

If any of you desire a conquest version of the map,plz ask and il add it.

I hope you enjoy Arica Harbor as much as i once did,and shall again.

ATTENTION: I recently had to reinstall windows/update PC. Unfortunately my SSD got wiped,with all my modded maps. That means i have no access to them in the editor anymore,and therefore it will be impossible to update this or any map currently released,

However,all my maps are pretty much at a place where they are optimised and well balanced with no issues. I will start releasing new BF maps again soon.

If anyone knows a hidden way for me to reclaim my maps for use in the editor do let me know,though i think its impossible.

Jango,yeah i miss it too. I believe there are a few hundred people on at any time throughout europe. My longt term goal was to have at least 8 BC2 maps made with high quality in RF. 2 down 6 to go

Thanks for the kind words.

The boats dont actually target the ai to move to the raven spawn(Eagle side cannot attack ravens actual spawn) what your seeing is them attacking Ravens most back held flag,thats a little close to the spawn.

Though this version of the map has no boats or vehicles so i assume your talking about the conquest mode version of the map?

dude it really is a amazing map, i been making maps for ages but the shear skill involved here is insane! only feedback is more of a personal one and that would be to somehow make the map not just end (like a plain) and maybe look into stopping bots just boat rushing ravens spawn but i had to really nitpick that

Hi guys,coming back to update some of these maps soon. If any feedback for this map in rush or conquest let me know. m considering for example to remove the attack helo on conquest mode as it doesnt feel rite.

Thank you Noldea4Username. Most people who havent used the vanilla editor dont understand its limitations,so your comment is lovely to hear. Once EA26 goes live,il add some finer details to all my maps ,in terms of remakes like Arica Harbor,more small details to match the original asthetic
