About This Mod

This mod moves all building piece recipes from all the feats under the construction tab to be built at a Builder's Workbench instead of the player character. As well as in a couple of the supported mods a few of the more decorative item recipes were moved to be crafted at the Artisan Table instead of on player character (i.e. tables, chairs, signs)

You will not see any building piece recipes in the builder's workbenches until you unlock the feats for those particular building pieces.

This mod does not affect gameplay balance in any way.

The goal of this mod is to remove some of the clutter from your inventory crafting so you can actually find things.

This mod only changes where these recipes are crafted at and nothing else, so should be perfectly safe to use with most any other mods or maps.

If another mod adds building pieces that are crafted on the player they will not get added to the Builder's Workbenches unless listed in the supported mods list.

Feel free to recommend mods to add support for in the comments below, this does not guarantee it will get added but it will be taken into consideration.

If currently using one of the older Builder's Workbench mods (Builder's Workbench Reborn v2.3.0 or Builder's Workbench Reborn Extended ) please read compatibility notes below before installing this mod.

This mod supports all base game and all current dlc building pieces found in the construction tab of the feat menu.

*After many requests I will be adding patches for an Improved bench for reduced crafting costs and possibly one for thralls but the thralls will be for RP reasons only. This base version of the mod though will never affect gameplay balance if I can help it. I can not even give an ETA on when these patches might be started at this time as I have many coals in the fire at the moment but I will eventually come back around to it.

Load Order

Put this mod below any and all mods that it supports or the building pieces for that mod will not show up in the Builder's Workbench.


Compatibility Notes

Aside from an incompatibility with the older Builder's Workbenches (see below) this mod should be safe to use with most any other mods and/or maps unless it also overwrites where the same recipe is crafted at, in that case whichever mod is lower in the list will decide where that recipe is crafted, no harm, no foul.


Compatibility Notes For Users Of Older Builder's Workbenches
I stripped down, gutted out, and then rebuilt the code from the Builder's Workbench Reborn Extended. This was in order to take advantage of much better tools in the current version of the Conan Exiles Devkit. Although most of it was rebuilt from the ground up the Workbench still uses the same ID number as the originals and therefore makes it completely and totally incompatible with any previous version of the Builder's Workbench Reborn or Builder's Workbench Reborn Extended mods.

You will not be able to run this mod with either of the other workbench mods installed, whichever mod is lower in the list will win and it might not be pretty when it does.

You will not be able to keep the previous benches or anything in them when switching to this version. So make sure to remove anything from any other Builder's Workbenches before switching.

There is no longer any thralls associated with the Builder's Workbench and there is no longer even a thrall slot in the Workbench. Any mason thralls will poof when switching to this version. This was an intentional design decision based on not wanting to affect the balance of the game in any way. Crafting speed is not a thing when it comes to building pieces and crafting cost can be handled easier by having an improved bench(although that will most likely be a patch added at a later date).



How It Works

This mod uses a modcontroller and a merge control table to only change where each recipe it affects is crafted at. It does not in any way shape or form affect or edit any items or placeables in the game aside from the Builder's Workbenches it adds to the game itself. It only changes where you see and use the supported recipes at. It does not affect anything else about the recipe including name, description, crafting ingredients, or output quantity. It only changes the craftstation it's crafted at.

You can add this mod at anytime to an already existing world without worry. Just make sure it's below any supported mods in your modlist if you want them to show up in the Builder's Workbenches.

This mod can be removed at anytime and the only thing you will lose is the Builder's Workbenches this mod adds. It will never touch/hurt/destroy/poof anything in the world if removed aside from the Builder's Workbenches as this mod adds those benches to the game itself.

Would you be willing to send me the files for this. I would like to get back to updating this. But it would be nice to continue form where everyone after me left off.

Oh wow I just realized that this mod is still crucial and relevant if you are using the mod Glass Constitutions and More, which has not been updated to the 3.0 hammer system, and will clutter your personal build menu as before!

Mod is discontinued and is now unlisted so it's not just another broken mod clogging up the workshop. I left it for legacy/compatibility reason, so unless you are already subscribed or have the link it will no longer show up anywhere.

First and foremost, I would like to thank you for your work on this mod, it was a lifesaver when you picked it up. While I understand the decision in regards to the builder's bench feature, is there any way to create another mod for the other items(like the Great Fridge) and even the benches themselves, but as placeables?

From the looks of things so far this mod will no longer be needed after the 3.0 sorcery update. I will most likely discontinue this mod once 3.0 is here, and a couple to few weeks after the update drops I will go ahead and remove this mod from the workshop as there is already enough broken mods cluttering things up around here.

I'm giving this warning now and early just to remind everyone that if you don't start fresh with the 3.0 sorcery update(you should though) you will need to remove any resources from the builders bench before updating your game to the 3.0 sorcery update as those benches will most likely no longer exist afterward.

Another question/suggestion...

I think I understand what you're trying to accomplish by adding all the different version of benches... It also seems you're trying to give the option to use the mod different ways.

Is it possible to change the feats around to where the first one is a simple feat that only unlocks the All In One bench by itself? Then the others setup for the different styles of using the mod. That way servers could blacklist the one's they don't want but still allow a feat to just make the basic bench?

As it stands there's no way to allow players to build the AiO Bench without putting others in their crafting list as well.

I second the request for Creature Comforts and would love the additions of Thrall Wars Decorations, Ancient Civilization & Dude's Creative Constructions. You have everything else that I can see. Which I must applaud you on not only the work you've done on the mod but the compatibility list as well. Very much appreciate that as it literally makes your mod better at doing what it proposes :P
