Lost & Found Dwarfs: Complete Collection

Description
This mod is a compilation of the Lost & Found: Dwarfs mods! Dwarf loving and lore friendly!

MCT Compatiblity - Compatible with Modding Configuration Tool. allowing you to disable units individually if desired. Note that this is completely optional and is NOT required for the mod to function.

The eventual goal of this mod is a total, comprehensive overhaul of all things Dawi, taken one step at a time! New Lost & Found mods will be added here after a delay to make sure no unseen issues arise as bugs can be pesky little things.

See below for more information on everything contained within!

Overall Summary
  • Nine New Dwarf Units (including two Regiment of Renown)
  • New mounts and weapons for Dwarf Lords and Thanes
  • Re-balanced vanilla roster
  • Visual Overhaul

General Changes

  • Bugman's Rangers now RoR
  • Added Charge Defense vs Large to a few units (see linked mod for full list)
  • Visual Overhaul - Increased beard variety for most of the roster and a fancier Yoked Carnosaur

Mining
Temporarily located in Lost & Found Dwarfs: Mining Expansion, but shall return!

Engineering
Dwarfen engineering needed more representation in game! Additional units along with unit variants have been added (see roster)!

In addition, the Flame Cannon has an additional firing mode to rain down a hail of fireballs!

@SubRyan
I posted a previous version so folks can finish campaigns without bugs (link in last comment).

I do wish Steam Workshop had better tools for this, the auto-updates seem to never happen when you want, but do when it will cause a problem.
But this workaround will do it for now!

@Ramayana

Unless the mod creator maintains a depository of old versions, then AFAIK there isn't a way to rollback Steam mods

Subscribing and enabling to his Lost & Found Dwarfs: Mining Expansion mod should allow old saves to be loaded

I'll leave it up until the next patch which will probably break it anyway. :summercrab2023:

How do we get a previous version, this update bricked my 100+ turn campaign

@SubRyan
Prior saves will have issues since some units got temporarily removed. If you want to continue a previous save file, you will need to grab one of the previous versions.There sadly was not a way to make the changes this time save file compatible. When the mining expansion gets added in, though that WILL be save compatible. Sorry for the inconvenience!

@SFH
Thanks! I'll link it in the description!

@greenphoenix23

FYI, the Jul 30th update is now resulting in crashes for prior saves UNLESS the Mining Expansion mod that you just released is also enabled

Greenphoenix, if you ever get a desire to add an additional unit, I personally think that switching Giantslayers with a Doomseeker-based model (lower model count, a bit higher defense, Doomseeker animations) and calling them Giantslayers instead would be super cool. Current Giantslayers use the boring normal 2h weapon dwarf animation and are, to be honest, a lazy fast job by the CA. I never felt the desire to use them. They simply don't feel elite enough to be called Giantslayers either as each Giantslayer has to kill an actual Giant to be able to use that rank in the lore.

@lordziffy
It is meant to be balanced with vanilla. Let me know if you have any feedback!

@Shogii
It is compatible but not balanced with that. An SFO patch will come sometime after the next update.

@Balthasar23th
Thanks! I have an update coming within a week so I will add it then! (Though the translation might need an update also... sorry)

@Cyno
This mod doesn't touch Master Engineers, though I do have plans to do so in future.

Does this mod give master engineers Gyrocopters as a mount? And also potentially new weapons for leveling up? Trying to find out which mod is doing it
