Lost & Found Dwarfs: Enhanced Flames

Description
ToD gave a lot to the dwarfs, but it also took some away! This mod re-introduces the original Gyrocopter (Brimstone Guns) as well as giving Flame Cannons an alternate firing mode to arc over the front lines and rain grudge-settling fire on any urks that stand against you!

NOTE: This is a standalone mod. All content is included in Lost & Found Dwarfs: Complete Collection.



Summary
  • A "new" Gyrocopter variant: Drakefire Guns (These match the original brimstone gun projectiles balanced for the increased number of models)
  • An extra firing mode for Flame Cannons. They can now swap between the new flamethrower style and a new arcing burst of projectiles meant to rain down on enemies.

Have you thought about editing the vfx .xmls to add point emitting lights to Dwarfen flamethrowers? Irondrakes look so out of place ever since the Tzeentch Flamers had this effect on release

Hey really loving using the drakefire gyros! Only request I'd make is for a version that uses the slightly larger copter model of the CA Brimstone gyros(same as the grudge settler trollhammer gyro version) with the new Drakefire guns. That would be amazing.

For some reason the brimstone chopters will go into melee by default. I cant make them target enemy units and they will only fire on their own when no target is assigned. No idea if this is a mod conflict though. There is also no crosshair but a sword icon when the mouse is hovering over enemy units whith the new chopters

Nice mod! I've missed the old gyros with brimstone. Also, does anyone know a mod to bring back the old flame effects? I think the current transparent fire is a bit odd.

So without this mod enabled you have:
Normal, Brimstone Guns, and Drakefire Guns? (And then the Gyrobomber of course)
I have no idea what would be causing that.

I left them untouched for now since they had their own unique projectiles, but I might revisit them after I play around more with them!

I'm not sure which drake slayer unit you are talking about.
This mod only adds a firing mode to flame cannons and an extra gyrocoptor variant.
