• NEW: Added ROR Gunderman's Surefires
• NEW: Added ROR Knights of Morr
• NEW: Added ROR Deathjacks
• NEW: Added ROR White Wolves

The idea behind this mod is to give the Statetroops a grittier, rougher look. I wanted them to be armoured but still somewhat represent a low base armour value, and retain a bit of the Empire flair. You will see a distinct difference between Statetroops and Greatswords/Knights in their visual arrmour quality and polish.

My ROR reskins are not bound by lore in design, but I do still follow the general concept of the units. I've mostly gone with what I thought was cool and would make them really unique. I've changed a lot of the campaign exclusive/province RORs as well. I plan to do all of the ground troop RORs, and maybe the arty crews as well.

Future Content and Mod Usage
The mod will not receive future content updates, I will still aim to release fix patches when new game updates break things.

Modders - You may freely use all assets from this mod except the banners, for those you will have to ask ZioCru (mine are outdated compared to his anyway).

Units Changed
Swordsmen
Spearmen (Shielded)
Halberdiers
Crossbowmen
Handgunners
Greatswords
---ROR Units---
Sigmar's Sons
The Silver Bullets
Carroburg Greatswords
Stirland's Revenge
Gunderman's Surefires
Knights of Morr
Deathjacks
White Wolves (Officer soon)

Compatibility
• Will not be compatible with mods that also change the models of the units listed above.
• It will be compatible with mods that alter vanilla textures, as I only use base assets.
• It should be compatible with officer/banner mods, they will be added as additional officers.
• You may have to test changing the load order priority if units are not changing.
• Compatible with Bayonet Animations which gives handgunners a new musket with a bayonet and the melee animations to match.

Issues
• Some clipping issues.
• Not seeing all facial hair colours and styles? Lower graphics settings can limit the variety given to units (Unit Details?)
• Greatsword Officer has part of a sash left over that needs removing.
• Missile Infantry leg models need adjusting, too much faction colour on the metal.
• Need to change the feathers on Stirland's Revenge to match their province colours
• No Officer for Knights of Morr (Cav officers are tricky, and I'm unsure if I'll keep this Cav unit in the pack)

Credits
• ZioCru and his ZC Empire Officers mod for allowing me to use his banners.
• RagnaroK for feedback and testing.
Sythropo for creating the Hochland Longrifle model, and ChaosRobie for porting it to WH3.

@Cipher,
Hello, I saw your comment about making the RoRs a separate pack and I wanted to ask, is this idea still in the works?
ZCs reskin is great for the regular state troops, but he hasn't so far touched RoRs. While your RoR unit reskins are top notch. Also anything for the future? Maybe Elector Count variant reskins?

Also this mod seems to be invisible on steam workshop search engine. I also cannot see it when visiting your profile workshop. Is it somehow hidden? I can only find this mod via a direct link.

Pretty odd, but great reskin nonetheless!

hi, is it okie when I use this mod a long side with ZC Empire reskin and all ZC Submod?
I feel fine with ZC Reskin but still want your ROR reskin, cause your mod is a few one that reskin ROR of the Empire :D

Just wanted to say thanks for this amazing mod! You nailed the aesthetic of the empire with these practical/not heavily armored troops but still striking a professional look that has a stark difference from the vanilla units that is in my opinion more lore friendly/realistic to humans who have to battle monsters only using floppy hats and skin tight leggings lol. Just hoping you have the chance to expand on what you have here because I truly think your mod gets right that alot of other empire reskins get wrong. Some of the regiment of renown units still do have the base vanilla look which is still an eye sore.

Hey, I'm thinking about it. Doing an Elspeth campaign at the minute so I'm definitely in the spirit of The Empire :empireskull:

Got some ideas for a bit of a 2.0 of the statetroops, they're my oldest work at this point and it shows. Bit of a packfile rework in order as well, it's a bit messy!

Hope you return to shape this mod up at some point mate.

CA did not do much to Empire in regards of skins etc, just the casual recolouring mostly.

If this was finished to your vision, had unique elector units and unique rors, it would stand out, as we have like 1000 mods adding armour plating etc. etc.

Then you release a standalone elector units mod, to bring focus back and point to this compilation, and once that has done its course on the workshop rotation, you pop the unique ror mod, to get focus a 3rd time. ;)
