Description
With this mod, everyone gets a random (configurable, default 5%) chance of being immune to the infection on spawn. Your first bite/infection has a chance (configurable, default 100%) chance of not actually counting. However, you will still experience the symptoms of the Knox infection, so you will never know for certain whether you will survive. Each subsequent bite will decrease your infection survival chance by an amount (configurable, default 20%), so on default settings, an immune player's second bite will only have an 80% survival chance.

Additionally, there is an "Immune?" trait (purely informative) that can be given to players based on the configuration:
  • With "Player spawn", immune players will get the trait as soon as they spawn.
  • With "End of infection", immune players will get the trait as soon as the symptoms of their first infection start to go away.
  • With "Start of infection", immune players will get the trait as soon as they are first infected.
  • With "Never", this trait will never be given out, and nobody will ever know for sure when they're immune.
It is important to note that the immune trait does not go away, so do not count on it as an accurate indicator of your immunity.

Mod Compatibility
  • Susceptible: Players with the "Susceptible" trait cannot become immune. However, they will receive a gas mask if they would have otherwise.
  • Bitten Trait: Players with the "Bitten" trait cannot become immune. However, they will receive a bottle of bleach if they would have otherwise.
  • Balanced Immunity Trait: Probably not compatible.

I haven't gotten around to trying out B42 yet, and I probably won't be porting anything to B42 until it's more stable/multiplayer gets released. You are free to port this mod yourself though, you can consider this mod licensed MIT.

So, when the Susceptible mod is enabled and the "Everyone is Susceptible" setting is enabled, rolling the immune chance should remove your susceptible trait rather than give you immune?
Sounds like a good idea, I'll add it as an optional setting when I can.

can you make supectible compatible everyone is supectible setting where it removes the supectible as an immunity effect like in the lore
