NANAME Doors

Description
NANAME is Japanese for diagonal.
I am not related to the author of Diagonal Walls 2, so I use this name to avoid confusion.

Overview
This mod automatically generates diagonal versions of all doors that use the Building_Door class. A door with “dia.” should be added behind the corresponding door in the building menu.
If Diagonal Walls 2 is installed, all diagonal doors and fence gates will be moved to the “Diagonal” tab.

Attention
If you change the language used while installing this mod, please restart RimWorld once.

Recommended Mods
This mod is also designed to fit with the walls of Diagonal Walls 2.


And, Graphics Settings+ is recommended to reduce texture scaling problems.
If you want to place a diagonal floor under a door, use NANAME Floors.
It is also compatible for Animal Gate from Vanilla Furniture Expanded - Architect.

Support for A* pathfinding in RIMMSqol. *Only 1.5. 1.4 support will not be provided without a request.

Thank you! Not urgent, as they do work ok.

If you were interested in doing any more diagonal work, there's one big gap left with diagonal walls: connecting to walls that run vertically or horizontally, a 45 degree intersection. You can end the diagonal wall at them ok, but if they cross in the middle like a K or a slanted T then there's no combination of diagonal tiles that joins smoothly. Again, not that important because it's only visuals, but if you were looking for projects anyway... :)

You are right, there seems to be a conflict with the pathfinding option in RIMMSqol. I'll fix it.

I've noticed that pawns slow down when moving through the door, even if it's held open. It looks like they mostly want to move horizontally or vertically through it, and slow down like they're crossing an obstacle. Is that expected? I do have a mod that alters pathfinding already - RimmsQOL and its A* Pathfinding option.

Its fixed! Both the doors no disappearing anymore and showing up properly on tab sorter. Thanks for all the hard work for such a small thing!

The mod has been updated to fix a problem with diagonal doors disappearing after setting Tab-Sorting. Now, NANAME Doors must be loaded before Tab-Sorting.
However, the problem of the door not moving to the Diagonal tab by default was not reproduced.
If Diagonal Walls 2 is installed, it should move. Let me know if it hasn't been fixed.

@LS yeah its that mod. Im using it with sort lights ON - sort floors ON - sort Bedroom ON - sort storage ON - sort Ideology ON - remove empty tabs after sorting ON. The rest is OFF. I also have cherry picker on but am not cherry picking anything from this mod (just some masks and power armors)

It was working fine with Tab-Sorting, so it looks like I need a little more info.
