Have you ever had an Ionian Islands run ruined because for some reason Greece isn't a formable nation, so you're stuck in Principality tier until you conquer your way to form Byzantium?

Okay maybe it's just me.


In Victoria 3 there are a bunch of minor nations which can't form the higher tier tag of their culture because they are not coded as a formable nation in the game's code. This mod aims to add in those missing 're-formable' nations so that you can jump up a tier as a minor nation once you conquer the more prestigious tag.

Currently these tags are re-formable in this mod:

• Greece
• Serbia
• Hindustan/Mughal Empire
• Denmark
• Norway
• Finland
• Turkey
• Egypt
• Persia
• Tibet
• Burma
• Siam
• Philippines
• Japan
• Sokoto
• Switzerland
• Hawaii

You are free to recommend any tags that I've missed that should be a re-formable. However, I will not add new nations/formables as this mod is strictly for vanilla tags only (preferably this recommended tag is Kingdom tier or above)

Some mods, especially big overhauls such as Victorian Flavor Mod, may have their own code for forming these aforementioned tags which ideally you'd want to have a higher priority than this mod. Please put Vanilla Formables Expanded before any of those mods.

I cannot guarantee if this mod will cause conflicts with Alt Hist mods as those mods may reuse three letter tags that is also used in vanilla. Use at your own discretion.

As this mod does not touch any vanilla files, it is safe to use after a Victoria 3 game update.
