Muffin's Steady Up Ability

Description
Just a Steady Weapon / Ready Up ability revival mod.

Now with exclusions lists. By defaults, it excludes Templar classes.
Also excludes primary weapon categories of gauntlets and swords too.
List can be expanded upon.

Robotics, Turrets and Large Units are excluded. Permanent.

Adjustable position on tactical user interface.
Defaulted to 225, after Overwatch skills.

Comes with bonus ability Steady Up: All (SDK learning process).
Enabled separately. Disabled by defaults.
Defaulted to 1999, far end of the tactical interface.

Footnotes:
f1. If using [WOTC] Shot Hud Ability Position Exchanger mod.
Use that to assign the position. It disables this [XComHUDPriority.ini] file.

@missymcmuffin OK, thanks for letting me know at least. Good job putting your 3 wks to work on this mod, you did great! :)

I also made this request 30 months ago in an older post, at https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/workshop/discussions/18446744073709551615/3182362958585199685/?appid=268500 , so I'm starting to doubt anyone will ever fulfill it. ^^;

@ RolandJ Thank you too. Think i will have to decline on that request. Appreciate lots, for even thinking I could make it =D am just about 3 wks old in the SDK thereabouts. Let alone coding ^^

@missymcmuffin Any chance you could make a 'Drop Unit Concealment' mod? I downloaded the tools but the game's framework was too much for me. I can tell that you have the knowledge required to make such as mod, as it's very similar to this: add a new command to every soldier's palette. The command would emulate the 'ToggleIndividualConcealment' console command.

@ =[NK]= Col. Jack O'Neil Thank you too. Nah...sorry. Was updating Ready Up while learning the SDK in the midst of my proficiency class plugin mod. Had never used Isms's before (probably because it was for vanilla only) =) Will keep that in mind ^^

Thank you! I don't suppose if you're looking at older mods to update, there was a smart over watch one that let you place cone of fields. Would that be something you'd consider updating if I can find it?

Heh. Nothing really. Just a simple mod to revive the same abilities that came long before I got the game =D XCom's Steady Weapon. LW2's Steady Weapon For All. dev/null's Vanilla + Kittah Kahn's WOTC Ready Ups. All of which was in 2016-2017. I found this game around 2022. Been using -Obsolete- version (really like that a lot), and just expanding it while fixing minor "bugs".

Yupz. Description says it all =D Key difference is Exclusion List. Always wanted to exclude some soldiers from it and the ability is in the UI "useless" to some, eg. melee only classes. Icon is just there ^^ Now, it won't. Some old comments wanted to exclude cannons. Now they can >.< Or wanted All + Others. Just giving one =D Other than that...now with custom icon too (for the hell of it).

Very minor. Using this to learn. To "turn on my back" with the SDK, let alone crawl =D LOL (to make an ability). Thank you ^^

Might be worth eexplaining how yours is different to the original ability, and how it may be of interest to other users.
