Simple Series
Hello fellow patron of the Hague! SK Simple Series is my list of personal mods that I've developed in an attempt to ease my ADHD fuelled desire to 'fix' every pet peeve I have with this lovely game I mod and error fix more than actually play. Every addition in these are made to suit my preferences and playstyle of Rimworld, I'm open to input and suggestions but these mods are meant to be, as the name implies, 'Simple™'.

To maintain this simplicity the series follow three very basic design rules:

- Never Replace. (No vanilla Item or system is meant to replace or be rendered useless by these mods.)
- No Bloat. (No Item will be identical or near-identical to a vanilla item, everything has some sort of niche)
- Always Reuse. (Every addition should favour using existing production benches, research, resources etc.)





Adds a buildable and drivable version of the 'Imperial MaxPack' from Vanilla Factions Expanded - Deserters. The vehicle has, extremely, limited colouring options and no visual upgrades, but it does have upgrades.

Requires a special spacer tech research to build that's locked behind two techprints. The vehicle is very expensive as are the upgrades. Literally have no clue how to balance this but used the Big Rig from VVE tier 3 as a baseline. I made it to get an idea how vehicle framework works and because I wanted a usable MaxPack. That space truck is friggen cool and genuinely shocking it was not converted earlier into a functional vehicle.

Note: requires VVE, VFE-D and their requirements to run. This contains no art assets as that would be theft, it does however contain a mask file for the original texture so that it can be (very, very limitedly) coloured.

All credits to the Vanilla Expanded team for their hard work and looking forward to the actual Imperial vehicles module to release.

NOTE AGAIN: THE MOD DOES NOT HAVE ANY TEXTURES. YOU NEED ALL THE REQUIRED MODS.

I probably won't update this as I believe royalty/Imperial vehicles are coming soon and I no longer use this myself.

@Settlerking yeah thanks, you are quite lucky with only 200 mods, usually i run about 1800+ mods, although due to testing and debugging its a lot lower now

let me know if any issues persist. I have no clue what these reported issues are from, I have tried this mod with 200+ mods enabled

l just loaded with all required mods as per the required mods on this very page and have zero issues.

@duckpower. the textures are the same as VFED. as the description states, the mod contains no textures except a masking file which is what the m files are

uh... your mod has a massive error log loop, and it drags down tps at least for me, your texture files for the max pack directions have an "m" in their direction tag, you might need to change "ImperialMaxpack_southm.png" to "ImperialMaxpack_south.png" and do the same with the other directions, since it isn't suppose to be like that and it the game doesn't recognize it as a direction of the max pack. its the easiest fix, if it isn't than i am sorry
