Caesar Universalis - Beta Version

Description

Aiming to simulate softly an offspring of EU 4 and Project Caesar, this mod has its foundations on my both predecessors. As the title expresses, this is a Beta version, to find the right balance while introducing new features being the sole test runner takes some time.

Those are the most significant changes when you compare to the base game, also, whenever you declare war a decision to set up your troops will be available. This has the intent to simulate how the armies were actually assembled before the Age of Absolutism, as the standing armies in the "ages" prior were small.

Also, vassals do not gives you Land Force Limit and the HRE Emperor also receives less both manpower and FL's bonuses.

Those numbers are only the base, you have multiple forms to "go around" it like:

  • Age Abilities
  • Balanced government reforms
  • Ideas
  • Companies' influence in your army
  • Cultures' bonuses

You need to activate Dev Expanded Lite too!

Hi! I just wanted to be sure, I don't actually need to used the Dev Expanded Lite mod right? This is already incorporated into Caesar Universalis? The only extra mods for full experience would be Road as Build and More European Provinces correct? Thanks

@dj dislexia, hm interesting, I didn't look into Naples calling its allies due to other similar event - Anti-Scaler League - the ones involved always call their allies. I'll check it out for the next update, thanks for the heads up!

There is an event where Hungary declares war on Naples in a succession war, I was allied to Naples, I joined the war, but it did not include me in on the war :/

@nitro I also almost give up but couple of weeks later Nando94 dropped his mod. Just honest curious, why 1204? The Fourth Crusade? If you wait a little bit when the next dlc featuring the rest of Asia drops you can just export from CK3

I had this idea in mind but I tried making the entire map by myself and it didn't go well. I'm looking forward to this!
