War Weariness: ROME II

Description
"Wars are the dread of mothers."

Every war you prosecute and every defeat you suffer will raise your War Weariness. The penalties start small but will incrementally raise to crippling levels that will severely affect Public Order, Morale, Replenishment, Movement Range, and Growth.

You can reduce your War Weariness by winning battles and signing peace treaties.

After nearly 2 weeks of straight development, it is my pleasure to introduce for you "War Weariness" into ROME II!

This is a similar system to the one found in "Total War: Attila: Age of Charlemagne" (written by scripting deity Mitch_CA).

If you already know what this system is, then read no further and enjoy! Otherwise, see below.

"War Weariness" adds a layer of depth to Total War previously unseen in the vanilla games. It was introduced recently in "Age of Charlemagne" and creates an enviroment where wars are catostrophic, dramatic events that take a toll on your population and on your armies (as they should be).

Compatability: All DLCs and Campaign Packs; anything that doesn't edit the "scripting.lua" file; compatible with Radious (thanks for testing, bob!), but not DeI (yet!)

Works excellently with the "Age of Charlemagne Diplomacy for ROME II" mod: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=588743021

you can reduce it by staying on peace for a while or signing non-aggresion deals?

this wasnt TOTALLY unseen in earlier total war titles, it was actually introduced in Napoleon : Total War, but it is a bit of a forgettable gem

Is it possible to add War Weariness to the TW Warhammer? I would like a lot to have this feature in that game.

Are the AI affected by this as well? cuz something i dont like about total war games is that i can destroy stack after stack of troops but my enemy still does not want peace

Also, an important factor to wager into expansionary countries is that now since you're so huge other countries feel the weight of your power next to them and will almost always take into consideration what you tell them. Why do you think the US has their hands dipped into everywhere? Lol. this is real life, its just not put into this game and I hate it. Now, because this game is so easy and AI decision making is so flawed this is only one more buffer on an already easy game. Difficulty just changes beginning relations with you. If you could fix AI desicsion making I would generously donate to you lol. Because this is a tall order.
