DESCRIPTION:

Institutes of Higher Learning should be soothing to the eye and spirit of any Cim who attends. Set for AfterDark, Bs University is just that, both day and night.

But it offers even more to the Cities: Skylines gameplayer. This University holds seating for three times as many students as the game's vanilla University. And at a much lower cost for initial build and continuing maintenance.

Bs University gets the funds to maintain itself through the tuition it charges it's students. (Have you checked the cost of tuition lately? It's phenomenal....if a University cannot run on those funds, perhaps it should close down.) The city does not get paid for maintenance of the University, nor does the city get paid when the University is built. Like those in real life, it is it's own run-for-profit entity.

The University also has two styles of Dormitory, in the same soothing blue colors as the University, so Cims can stay right there near the University should they wish. Those Dormitories can be found and subscribed to at the following two links:

My thanks to Mr. Maison for the many trees he created that can be found giving these three buildings a warmer feel. All three buildings would be very cold and unwelcoming without the results obtained by the use of his wonderful assets.

Also, thanks to my mentor, Populous, who taught me how to create buildings like these. Now I no longer have to "borrow" a modder's building and tweek it's properties to fit my needs. I can make my own from scratch - ever so much more fun.

That said, if anyone wishes to subscribe to my University and then change anything in it to serve their needs, know that I'm fine with that. Take it, use it as a "jump-start" for your own fantasy, enjoy it. I have my original of it and you may feel free to "play" with your copy, with my blessings, in any way you like. If you should decide to share your version to Workshop, though, I'd very much appreciate a link on your version to my version, and an acknowledgement that you started with mine as a base.
