Major rebuild to allow for more inter-mod & DLC compatibility.

Mod now adds elite & defence units for all countries that are human player. The mod gives choices of factory & resource development, plus extra research so that one can develop the Navy of any nation they are playing.

Adds additional factories, resources, developments & tech to focus on naval production for any nation. It also adds defence units & other units to any nation you are playing & unique divisions for Germany & Russia to the game with unique skins & stats. (1.14) Fully compatible with 'Man The Guns DLC' - I highly recommend it.

Recommended for use with my DIE SCHUTZSTAFFEL MOD & DIE LUFTWAFFE MOD, but works fine with as a stand-alone.

Mod now reskins all ships in the game to a much higher standard & consistency. Both in models & textures. Russia & Germany have new unique land units; if another nation is played, some new land units are added. All the worlds navies are reskined.

Mod also pulls in the abandoned German ship models, plus reskins them to look historically correct, with nazi eagle on the stern, ship shields on the bow & deck swastikas. Battleship now has Bismarck model now has Bismarck paint. Mod also reskins all German Land Units, motorised & mechanised units are SS uniformed. Paratroopers/fallschirmjager have three models of splinter->sumpftarn->leibermuster, depending on the current tech. Mountaineers & Cavalry follow the same pattern. Have added more weapon variety for units to use, Mp44, G41, FG42, G43, Mp35 & Mp38 are added to the mix. A new Coastal Defense unit is added, which has high defense bonuses at the expense of movement & attack skill.

Mod gives 5 options on start up:
#1 +1 factory & resources in all your provinces plus access to unique units
#2 +2 factories & resources in all your provinces plus access to unique units
#3 +5 factories & resources in all your provinces plus access to unique units
#4 +10 factories & resources in all your provinces plus access to unique units
#5 No factories & resources, but access to unique units & skins

Mod adds:
165 ship models & skins for all navies.
55 historically accurate land unit skins plus 8 weapon types for Germany.
Unique Coastal Defense Unit
Elite trrops & unique AA defence units added for all nations.
6 additional Admirals & 6 Generals (to command the KM Troops)
Mod gives 5 start options
7,000 German ship names
1000+ unit & division names.
20 unit templates with unique name selections.
170 ship icons for tech tree & build menu.
Nazi Flag, war-flag.
German Skins added for Eastern Front Planes Pack DLC

Language support for: English, Portuguese, German, French, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, Polish & Russian.


The premise of this mod is that the navy gets a bit more attention & funding than it did historically. So additional options for dockyards & resources are added, plus some more tech slots to focus on naval research.


Compatibility:
Is Ironman compatible, but not Achievement compatible.
DIE SCHUTZSTAFFEL MOD 100% compatible. (Sister mod for German Heer & SS)
DIE LUFTWAFFE MOD, 100% compatible. (Sister mod for Luftwaffe units)

Other Mods... please try it & report back, there are thousands of mods, I can not try them all or I would do nothing else for the next year. I have tried to make this mod as compatible as I can. If the other mod changes tech, you may have issues, if it adds units, you will just get some functionality. It doesn't change game files, so it should not break others mods at least. If it crashes, try with just the skins options.

SKINS ONLY: This mod used to have a skins only version, but the Paradox limit of 4 options has meant I have removed the skins only version to its own mod: Naval Reskin - Paint the Guns MOD

Please note that German carriers do not spawn with aircraft now. It is rather complex to get that to work with people that have the BBA DLC & still work for people that do not. You no longer get carrier aircraft tech either.
