DAIR:
- Endlag increased from 14 > 18.
- DAir's VSP gained per each use increased to reduce stalling.
+ DAir now gains additional height if used after a jump (0 > 4).

Dev Notes - This patch is to just adjust Penny's recovery and make it a bit more exploitable. This will be the last balance patch before Hitfall and we'll be keeping a close eye on her during this event. She will, if needed, have one more balance patch before the Riptide patch window is closed should anything be found. We have been informed numerous times about possibly adding in more counterplay to the mine on stage, it's something we are looking into. Thank you for the support for this character, we seriously appreciate it, and look forward to seeing where she goes next.

This patch is meant to be a bug fix patch first and foremost. We will be keeping an eye on Penny, especially as we grow closer to Hitfall 2.

General:
= New Tesla Mine sprites made for the Genesis and Pool Party alts.
= Hitfall and Lukastar Alt added (with fancy particles!).
= Moved around Awoo alt to be amongst the player alts.

Bug Fixes:
= Tesla Mine now retains the original owner and will update to make sure it remains as such, if the owner still has control of the Mine.
= Fixed weird ditto bug where a player with a mine strapped to them would not reset the owner's flag, forcing them to spend time hitting DSpecial again to detonate a mine that doesn't exist anymore.
= Fixed hitpause on FTilt 2 with mine.
= Fixed death_update thing (maybe?)
= Fixed the pratfall thing again with USpecial.

Balance Adjustments:
- Penny can no longer gain overclock from her Tesla Mine.
Dev Notes - This was a suggested change as her gaining overclock is a lot easier to get now and makes the character more interactive.[/i]

JAB:
+ Jab 1 now gives Penny a slight boost forward (2 hsp)

DATTACK:
+ BKB reduced from 8 > 7.
Dev Notes - This should make the move more reliable at higher percents for kill confirms.

DSPECIAL:
+ DTilt now knocks the mine slightly forward instead of straight up.
Dev Notes - Given that Hitfall 2 isn't far away and will give us plenty of in-person feedback, we have already put in the code to have mine act similarly to Elli's mine should testing show that it's required for balance.

v1.3
This patch was made specifically to fix some bugs and to make her a bit smoother to play. We'll be keeping an eye on her in the future, making sure to address balance concerns and see what be done improve the experience as both a player and the opponent. I will be implementing a block for patches starting next week as to allow Hitfall 2 players a chance to prepare with Penny.

Bug Fixes:
= Cancelling Airdash now properly puts you into pratfall instead of letting you spam a move to ignore it.
= Penny no longer pulls charge from an opponent if she is already overclocked.
= Penny can now properly gain charge from a C4 with all of the attacks that pull it from an opponent.
= Fixed some code in init_shader which should hopefully fix some css crashes?
= USpecial now goes into pratfall if you go all the way to the end.
= Penny can no longer detonate an airborne mine.

Balance Adjustments:
+ Leave Ground Max speed reverted from 6 > 7.

UTILT:
- Sweet Knockback Scaling increased from .8 > .9.

DTILT:
- Angle changed from 75 to 100.
Dev Notes - We noticed that people mentioned how difficult it was for Penny to combo out of her tilts, this slight tweak should make it a bit easier for her to get combos going.

FSPECIAL:
- Projectile hitbox made smaller (35x35 > 20x20).
- Projectile hitbox is now more accurately placed on the sprite instead of in the center.

USPECIAL:
- VSP gained during USpecial reduced from -4 > -3.5 every frame).
Dev Notes - We felt like her recovery (while really good), could be toned down a bit to make it easier to gimp her.

DSPECIAL:
- Uncharged Mine will now detonate automatically on frame 5 rather than frame 1.
+ Charged Mine will now detonate automatically on frame 6 rather than frame 10.
+ Mine will now manually detonate on frame 16 rather than frame 20.
Dev Notes - We felt that mine on the opponent was far more rewarding than having a mine on stage, so we hope these adjustments make the mine more reliable to have on stage.

This patch was made to directly address feedback given recently regarding the character and in an effort to make them elligable for Riptide 2023. These are made as well to makethe character more universally playable.

Balance Adjustments
General:
- Max Air Speed reduced from 5.5 > 4.
- Max Leave Ground Speed reduced from 7 > 6.

JAB:
+ Jab 2 now gives Penny charge if the opponent is charged.

Dev Notes:
It was mentioned how difficult it was to gain install, since applying it was so easy. While this choice is hesitant, it makes sense given how she gains it is through her metal arm. All moves that use her metal arm will give install if they hit.

UTILT:
- Hurtbox size increased to cover the majority of the smear.

Dev Notes: This should make the far easier to play against and deal with.

FSTRONG:
+ Now gives Penny install on hit.

USTRONG:
+ Now gives Penny install on hit.

FAIR:
- Hurtbox size increased to cover the majority of the smear.
- Spike hitbox now made smaller.
- Added Sourspot hitbox on the larger smear. (KB: 7|.55, Hitpause: 7|.4).
+ Spike angle changed from -60 to 280.

Dev Notes:
FAir was the other move people had issue with. The sweetspot is commonly where people hit the move normally but with the added sourspot where the large smear is, it should make getting spiked while you're above Penny less common.

BAIR:
- Hurtbox slightly increased to cover foot.
- Sourspot angle flipper changed from 0 > 6.
- Sweetspot knockback changed from 8|.75 > 7|.75.
- Sweetspot hitpause changed from 10|.25 > 8.8.
- Sweetspot sound changed.
- Angle Flipper removed from Sweetspot.

DAIR:
+ DAir 1 angle flipper changed from 0 > 7.
+ DAir 1 no longer forces flinch.

NSPECIAL:
- Forward Throw Knockback decreased from 7|0.2 > 6|0.2.

FSPECIAL:
- Cooldown increased from 45 > 90.
+ Angle changed from 50 > 80.
+ Hitstun Multiplier increased from .5 > .8

Dev Notes:
This change was made to make FSpecial less spammable and more useful in combos/tech chasing.

USPECIAL:
- Pressing down now puts you into pratfall.
- Charged USpecial will not put you into pratfall so long as you hit the opponent.
- If you use an attack during the "Air Dash" state, you will now go into pratfall at the end.
- Airdashing no longer spawns the drone.

Dev Notes:
Up Special was a move I wanted to keep having stable options given her kit and inspiration. We mainly wanted to keep the PM Snake USpecial combos, so this felt like the best compromise for the move.

We want to thank you all for the feedback and love that the new Penny has received.
We kind of figured it wouldn't be difficult given Penny's original design, but the reception was far better than we hoped for.
So thank you for the support and here's the adjustments coming to Penny.

- Jab 1 BKB increased from 2.5 > 3.
+ Jab 1 Hitpause increased from 1.8 > 4.

+ Damage increased from 7 > 8.

USTRONG (Charged):
+ Sweetspot damage increased from 9 > 12.
+ Sourspot damage increased from 6 > 10.

FSTRONG (Uncharged):
+ Damage increased from 8 > 10.

FSTRONG (Charged):
+ Fist damage increased from 10 > 13.
+ Plasma damage increased from 6 > 10.

DSTRONG (Uncharged):
+ Damage increased from 5 > 12.

DSTRONG (Charged):
+ Damage increased from 5 > 15.

NAIR:
+ NAir 2 Angle increased from 40 to 45.
+ NAir 2 Knockback Scaling decreased from .7 > .5.
Players mentioned how they wish they could get more off of NAir, so these buffs were made to make NAir more useful.

FAIR:
- Removed top hitbox from the attack.

BAIR:
- Hitboxes adjusted slightly to better fit the visual.

UAIR:
- Whifflag moved to happen after the hitbox is active for more accurate endlag.

DAIR:
- Angle Flipper 7 added to Hit 1.

NSPECIAL:
- Back Throw hitpause changed from 16, .75 > 9, .2.

BUG FIXES:
- Fixed bug where if you grab an opponent as they're about to explode, it would create multiple explosions.
- Fixed bug where install would be kept on death, now it is removed upon death.
