Patriot designs have been finalised.

New Indian governor / councillor minted. Uses vanilla Mayan Ancient skin. Can be used with Indian chariot governor.

"Greek" units also got rejigged.Despot patriot now consists of the following:
1 Egyptian chariot, w jockeys.
2 Horses.
1 Patriot in bronze armour (tried using Uthum's modern hoplites but it didn't work so we resorted to something else).

We now have the following completed:

Indians - patriots are complete.
Persians - patrots are complete.
Romans - patriots are complete.
Greeks - patriots are complete, but a 2nd red one, representing Alexander, is required.
Barbarians - patriots are complete, and ready to go.

Completion of this task - prolly 31 October.

So as a result, chariot Patriots are ready and should be prioritised.

Asian, Greek, Akkad: N/A
Roman: done, replaced chariotnVIP with Greek warrior.
Egyptian: recycled.
Indian: "shaman" is being used to represent civilian leader in chariot.

Animation kleopatra1_idle2.bha found to be flawed. A revision is required ASAP.

Finalising appearance of patriots (very very important).

Indian green patriot - ready. Assyrian chariot, with VIP, jockey, and horses (for now).
WARNING! crew size exceeded. Need to link jockey to chariot.

Western red patriot - need a new chariot. Similar design - jockey linked to chariot.

SO MY WISH LIST is as follows:

Indian green patriot medium chariot +jockeyt model, 2 horses, and a general.
Western red patriott: 1 medium chariot (Egyptian) with a jockey, 1 tyrant 2 horses (WBI Aegean Greek)

Redid the tech tree on Fandom for this mod so that,

- Light chariots are used by Sabaioi, Poeni - but Poeni Light Chariots are consumed by the emergence of Parasim Kan'anim.
- Egyptians retain control of the Werryt - now renamed Machimoi Harmatoxotai.
- Resources for Carthaginian light chariot hurlers have been added. We are officially in business.

THESE ISSUES remain:

(A) INDIAN CHARIOTS.

Warbirth was planning to re-use the Hittite style of chariot for Indians but clearly this cannot be the case.

Required resources - Medium Chariotry, Heavy chariotry (with scythes).

SUGGEST - use chariot_india, with its skins for the Medium Chariots, until further notice. Heavy Chariots as those used by Persia will be used for BOTH Magadha and Achaemenids until further notice.

A new green patriot skin for India will need to be developed, but it will take time.

ALSO: Indian patriot chariot - re-use an Assyrian model for test, but change the appearance - replace the sides with tiger skin.

(B) "Roman" patriots:

Need to recast again (sigh)

Roman tyrant:
"red patriots wear purple robes, and are escorted aboard a chariot by a jockey (argive_charioteer_elite). They use the old Numidian/Arab chariot - pick which is applicable." - this means that we need new units.
- purple tyrant from KC needs to be rejigged.
- A new unit, based on one of the Illyrian units but carrying a phaelerae like the Hattic chariot envoy, must be inserted.

Green patriots are the same as those of WBI for the Aegean cultures - Greek envoy with Petasos, Barbarian envoy with a Chinese-style staff. The luminary in question is garbed in Hattic fashion.

Psychological damage! how do we fix this?

Simple.........
- fix all the patriots, right away.
- do all the chariot units!
- Once the Celtiberian/Carthaginian charioteers are ready, it is a matter of coding; we have all resource to hand to develop these elements.

Chariot units required:

- Bouiron karbantos - new jockeys armed with old Celtic shield are ready.
- Chariot Archer - replaces Light chariot, and is a CC of WBI's Egyptian Werryt. Otherwise, it has Arabo-Egptian and Carthaginian jockeys.
** Find Celtiberian units with scale armour. Replace their helmets with somethingn mor presentable and add bows to their hands.
- Cimmerian mercenary chariot
- Medium chariot - for Magadha, Gandhara (Indian only)
- Harmata drepanephora ...... this is a tough one. We will provisionally include Magadha heavy jockeys along with Persian ones.

Indian harmata drepanephora is also required for Magadha green patriot.

Chariot unit for western Red patriot is also required.
- This is a simple operation. Egyptian chariot. vanilla Phalanx for VIP, KC spear levy dude as standrd bearer. He can use the staff we have design for use with barbarian Red patriots.

New changes done for Barbarian patriots:
GREEN: Celtic-styled patriots mated to Hittite warlord on foot.
RED: Celtiberian warlord, accompanied by two attendants, carrying the same standards.

Coding for chariots assimilated into this mod.

Working on the patriots for barbarian nations.
Once that part is accomplished, we can start reinstating units.

Tribes xml files finalised.

Only factions not touched were: Odrysioi, Larissa, Illyria.
