v1.6.5 - Shipyards and Sectors update

  • Removes 1.3.8 support.
  • Updates required version of ESCC to 1.7.8.
  • Changes how the backup script works. It will now summon extra enemies when a pirate station is damaged. This is affected by the wily and brutish traits.
  • The number and type of ships that attack during pirate ambushes on missions is affected by how much the pirates hate the player.
  • Makes a few changes to decapitaiton strikes:
    • If a decapitation strike is not allowed due to the sector not allowing an attack (neutral zone, energy suppressor, etc.) it will ALWAYS attempt to launch an attack at another sector.
    • If a player is at less than 400 hatred, decapitation strikes will not spawn more than 5 executioners.
  • Out-of-sector attacks are now affected by how much the pirates hate the player.
  • If an out of sector attack cannot be launched due to an energy suppressor (or any other reason), it will attempt to launch an attack at another sector.
  • Out-of-sector attacks will now respect energy suppressor satellites.
  • If a standard pirate attack cannot be launched due to an energy suppressor (or any other reason), the pirates will attempt to attack the player elsewhere if they hate the targeted player enough.
    • If there are multiple players in a sector, a random player will be chosen.
  • Adds hatred attack table for level 100, 200, and 300.
  • Adds frenzied as a possible buff to spawn utilities.
  • If pirates hate the player enough, a secondary group of enemies might be spawned on the final attack wave while clearing out a pirate sector.
  • Finishing a wave encounter or destroying a pirate shipyard will normalize player hatred towards a moderate value.
    • Specifically, this means that it will increase how much the pirates hate the player if they don't hate the player much.
    • On the other hand, it will reduce how much the pirates hate the player if they really hate the player.
    • Destroying a shipyard will move the hatred value more than clearing a wave encounter.
  • Destroying OOS attack pirates / ambush pirates will increase hatred.
  • Sending an informant to spy on the pirates now provides additional information.
    • Inforamtion about when a decapitation strike may be launched will be provided.
    • Information about whether or not a pirate faction will attempt to launch an OOS attack if their main attack fails will be provided.
  • Removes one instance of pirate attack from the event scheduler.
  • Adds one instance of OOS attack to the event scheduler.
  • Modifies the pirate station spawn script slightly to mark the station.

Update: 23 Feb, 2022 @ 9:39am
