1.5.0 ::+ The QUEST UPDATE!!!

After a year of waiting the Iron Hands have a unique custom campaign full of lore, unique enemies, and a new unit.
Enjoy!

Changes:
* I had to change the Bolster Squad mechanic back to the Merge Squad mechanic due to a new game feature that refunds cost of actions if the unit diapers that turn. I enjoy the Merge Squad mechanic more anyways but unfortunately the AI is not smart enough to use it effectively.

* Fixed Sternguard Vetern Overlay Icon
* Fixed terminator textures lacking shading.
* Lieutenant's aura no longer effects self

1.4.2 ::+ The A.I> Update 2

And we are back already.

* FluffyRaKu from Discord showed me a way to keep the old click-and-forget stratagems and doctrines system while making the AI use it. So we are back to a user friendly tactics interface. Thank you FluffyRaKu!

* Tweaked Strategy values of various units and skills.
- AI will be more likely to obtain bionics, doctrines and melta bombs. AI has a preference for devastator doctrine.
- AI will be less likely to obtain Mechanized (it was causing all AIs to spam razorbacks).

1.4.0 ::+ The A.I> Update

Greetings commanders!

The A.I. was always a slouch when it came to Space Marines and with the various mechanics introduced for Iron Hands they became the worst faction on the map. It always bothered me that Iron Hands were a dud while playing random FFA maps. I don't want players to feel compelled to disable the mod while they are not playing it.

After much experimentation I've come up with some work-around to make the Iron Hands more challenging in the A.I Hands. I would appreciate your feedback.

* 7 most Tactical Panel skills now require the player to click any unit to apply buffs to their whole army. While I understand that this adds an extra click for us humans it also allows the A.I. to cast doctrines and stratagems on their army - which is a major part of IH gameplay.

* Merge Squads is gone - this mechanic is my baby, I love it, but the AI didn't know how to utilise this properly and the large squads are such a big part of Iron Hands late game character.

* Bolster Squads introduced - upon research every Devastator, Assault and Tactical squad will have the ability to upgrade it's unit size for a price. As before unit level is retained.

* Call Transport should now be utilised by the AI occasionally.
* The AI has a slight preference for Dreadnoughts and Devastator squads.
* AI will very rarely build scout bikers.


* Overwhelming Force is now +6 production -2 energy and -2 loyalty for each Armoury building.

* Fixed Bolt Weapon upgrade not applying to Predator Auto Cannon.
* Fixed description of Calculated Fury.

Update 1.2.1

*Hunter - Cost changed back to 40req (2req/turn). Streamlined attacks to no longer require a separate button for ground targets. Weapon Range 4 and only overwatch vs flyers, range 3 vs all other targets.

*Savant Interlocution bonus reduced to 17% damage from 33%.

*Hearts of Iron now gives +20% hitpoints rather than +1hp/model which was causing empty hitpoints to be given.

*Fixed Merge Squads bug that prevented level 10 Squads from spawning if target was level 10 and had Last Stand trait.

*Tweaked AI unit production. AI should no longer spam Librarians. AI should favour Iron Captain.

*AI will research and apply all Bionic upgrades.
