Hello, thanks to Nacho for some update ideas:

NEW
> As requested by Nacho, you can now change the distance the Sniper Cam activates in the Game Play Options Menu (150m+, 200m+, 250m+, 300m+ or off). I have changed the default to 200m+.

> Also requested by Nacho, if you have PRAIRIE FIRE or UNSUNG installed you will get the option to swap vanilla tripwire traps and IEDs with traps/IEDs from PRAIRIE FIRE or UNSUNG. Some QUICK FACTIONs have these applied automatically. I have left mines as they are.

> I have made some small tweaks to Recalculate Enemy / Independent Size.

FIXED
> Bug discovered by Nacho where the Reinforcements mission message would sometimes spam repeatedly.*
> Bug when sometimes at the end of being in a support aircraft you'd drop from the sky.*

*99% sure these are fixed; they have not happened again since I scripted the fixes.

My second update in two days! A very small, but hopefully useful one!

A few people have reported that THE ASSAULT jumps from menu to menu without pausing during set-up. Whilst I have never been able to re-create this issue, I think I know the cause:

Previously, if you pressed any key whilst in a menu you were taken to the next menu. So, I think something in the configuration of those that reported the issue was doing the equivalent of pressing a key.

Now, pressing a key, including Esc, will have no effect. You must click on the menu instead.

If anyone previously experienced the menu jumping issue, I would be keen to know if it has now been fixed.

ZOMBIES
I've made a lot of improvements to zombie game play:
> I created a new SPECIAL QUICK FACTION called "Zombie/Monsters/Alien Mods". It will check if you have RAVAGE, Devourerking's Necroplague Mutants, WebKnight's Zombies and Creatures, Zombies and Demons or Max_Alien installed. If you do, it will include units and missions from all those mods.
> "Zombie/Monsters/Alien Mods" can be enemies or independents.
> "Zombie/Monsters/Alien Mods" always spawn close.
> If you select "Loot in Buildings" in the Game Play Options menu a lot more loot is spawned and it is always weapons or health packs.
> If using Furniture (found in the Gameplay Options) and "Zombie/Monsters/Alien Mods" you'll get more zombie apocalypse themed furniture.
> I updated QUICK FACTIONs for Survivors, RCPD (you no longer need the vehicle pack mod), The Corporation and NATO CBRN.
> The "Survival" Game Style (found in the Game Play Options menu) has been renamed "Zombies and Monsters" with a few changes.

NEW/CHANGED
> Sound effect added to sniper kills (over 150m)
> New mission to "Defend the Position"
> New mission to "Rescue the Squad". Once you have rescued them you can ask them to join your squad to replace causalities.
> New mission to "Clear the Skies". During this mission, if you die you will respawn as an interceptor with a wingman, until the mission is over.
> During the "Kill the Pilot Officer" mission you will also play as an interceptor until the mission is over.
> IEDs, Explosive Objects, Intel Documents, IEDs and Mines all spawn up to your insertion point if you start on foot or in a land vehicle. Before, they only began appearing from your Rally Point onwards.
> With some QUICK FACTIONS you can choose to remove NVGs and add flashlights to weapons.
> Units with flashlights on their weapons will always use them. In the Gameplay Options menu you can turn this off.

FIXED
> The last update was all about enemies spawning in buildings, but I made a very basic coding error ("and" instead of "or") which meant they hardly every appeared!! That's fixed now.
> alister69 led me to identify a problem with creating your squad using "PICK A FACTION TO EDIT" (instead of a QUICK FACTION). After creating your squad, you should be taken to the "HOW DO YOU WANT TO INSERT?" menu. But a recent update to fix one problem, caused another; two menus opened simultaneously. This is now fixed.
> I did a tidy up and removed QUICK FACTIONs for mods that no longer exist. I'm still upset JM's Long Live the Empire has gone, I loved that mod :(

NEW/CHANGED
> A new side mission to "Clear the Location" of enemies. The location is normally a building, but some "building locations" are not in buildings - e.g. in PRAIRIE FIRE some are on the edges of paddy fields.

> If you have an interceptor in your support AND the enemy has aircraft then there is a chance that in the "Kill the Officer" mission the officer will pilot an aircraft. Intercept support is free until the mission is over.

> If you snipe an enemy from 150m or more away you'll get a kill cam of their death and an extra 5 VP. Do this 3 times and you'll get the Marksman medal and 10 VP.

> By default, at the end of each mission if any of your squad are more than 200m away they will be respawned around you. This is to reposition units that might have gotten stuck in buildings, behind fences etc. You can now turn it off in the Game-play Options menu. It is also off by default in Tactical, Special Forces and Survival Game Styles.

> When you hit (not necessarily kill) an enemy aircraft from another aircraft you might get a "kill cam". This can be turned off in the Game Play Options menu.

> Ever used a tank (or other vehicle) to support your squad moving up only to be spawned right back where you started when the support leaves? Now the re-spawn point will move up with your squad.

> The timer for the final mission will now only begin after you have made contact with the enemy.

> When you reinforce the player's equipment will go back to it's original state (i.e. ammo, med kits etc)

> Made massive changes to how enemies spawn in buildings. You should find they are even more frequent. There is a risk some will spawn on roofs that are inaccessible though.

> Sped up how quickly dead units are removed, this makes a big difference to FPS in big battles.

> If independents are enemies of the player side and friends with the enemy side they will now appear in the final mission.

> Tweaked "Dynamic View Distance" (found in the Game-Play Options menu) so there is a higher probability that view distance will be reduced in cities, saving those frames!

> If you call a transport boat any of your squad within 30m will be placed onboard.

> You can now choose to include interceptor aircraft on the VC side for PRAIRIE FIRE and UNSUNG QUICK FACTIONs.

> Saving at radios was not always giving the option to save when you got close to them.

> The option to change the Interceptor aircraft was not working in the VIRTUAL GARAGE.

> Bug where extraction options would not re-appear if your extraction vehicle was destroyed (I think this is fixed. It's not happened again).

> DCX, DMOrchard's CDLC Crossover mod was not being automatically detected

> You would lose VICTORY POINTS when calling support, supply or reinforcement land vehicles even if the request was denied because there was not room for one

> You now get +5 VPs for healing friendly independents

NomadBK pointed out the option to hide the hint box (top right corner during the game) was broken. It's now fixed!

> If you have IMS: HALO installed Covenant Melee units will automatically be added to the Covenant enemy QUICK FACTION.

> NomadBK asked if Independent QUICK FACTIONs have heavy vehicles, they don't. So, I added a new feature. During QUICK FACTION creation if tank/armour is defined for that FACTION you will be asked if you want to replace Land Vehicles with Tanks/Armour. You can do this for enemy and independent QUICK FACTIONs. If you do this for the enemy faction the "Destroy the Armour" mission will be removed.

CHANGED
I've added more features for the "Intense Action" PRESET:
> Reinforcements are changed to Auto-Reinforce
> The Enemy size is increased
> You don't lose VPs when members of your squad are killed (you can also add this feature without the PRESET from the Game Options Menu)

> You can no longer "Rearm Your Squad (within 100m)" for SPECIAL FACTIONs as it led to weird results.
