Ark Omega V2.8 Patch Notes:

-Omega souls now stack.
-Ancient tier group variants can be upgraded to UGG variants with the Zodiac Soul.
-Fixed a bug preventing the Zodiac Soul from being placed in the Omega Altar.
-Unique group god variants now spawn wild in No-Tame.
-Short delay added to Paragon soul consumption to prevent them from being consumed too quickly and not giving levels.
-Omega Beacon now correctly shows which tier of boss will be summoned when ranking up boss souls.
-Tweaked the color change rate on Zodiac's skin.
-Omega beacon now tells you that it requires land or deep water when trying to place in shallow water.
-Omega beacon item description now tells you that placing it in the water summons water tames.
-Colossus Managarmr ice breath now deals damage.

-Fixed a glitch in the dino saddle imbue system that were making their elemental resistance imbues reduce damage from the wrong element.
-Rubble Golem's main attack damage type set to the same one used by the Rock Elemental, allowing it to harvest corpses.
-Infinity Stone added. Has no affect on the player, but weighs down a dino so it cannot move.
-Fixed an issue preventing Unique Group Gods from getting certain versions of the group god powers.
-Alpha Basilisk no longer lose health when tamed.

-Tek Stryders only count as a single tame towards the max tame count.

Dinos:**
-Zodiac now uses skins based on its current phase.
-Zodiac is immune to damage for 5 seconds on summon/phase change to prevent despawn and instakill.
-Summoner group minions now get paragons where appropriate
-Mythical group no longer triggers its primary ability when dealing damage.
-Dinos no longer show kibble type to tame with awesome spyglass on No-Tame.
-Kibble type clamped to Omega tier.
-Wild unique gods no longer spawn wild (A replacement is coming).
-Utility bosses spyglass tag fixed to show they can only be damaged by Utility variants.
-Infinity's spyglass tag now shows it can only be damaged by Ethereal and Utility.
-Wild ancient tier dinos now give Omega Essence.
-Spyglass tags added to Unique Gods and Ancient Unique Gods to show that they can only be damaged by their same type.
-Fixed a bug preventing Armored dinos from not getting damage reduction from damage sources that have no damage causer (like Phoenix's corpse burn).
-Roll Rat is now KO tame.
-Tek Stryder can now spawn with variants, is KO tame (raid torpor), and is piggybacked in on the Paracer at 4%.
-Crafting variants now have the original equipment types carried over to the crafting inventory (Crafting tameable bosses now have a trophy slot, etc).
-Broodmother taming effectiveness reduction over damage/time reduced to be in line with other bosses.

-Health drain rate on Unstable for Meltdown fixed.
-Normal ability prevention mechanics will now stop meltdown from draining life or dealing damage (freeze, stone, siren, etc).

-Rage God changed to Alpha Carno until the release of the Lost Island dev kit due to Ferox crashing.
-Unique Gods can now be damaged by players in No-Tame.

-Disruptor variant added. Ethereal variant that causes a debuff preventing abilities from being used.
-Spyglass tag for raid torpor info is now kept on the actual dino file and not handled in the dynamic buff to speed up the setup time.
-Mythical group now gets reduced bonuses from Pygmy variants but increased bonuses from Mythical variants.
-Tameable bosses now spawn wild in No-Tame near Hoarder chests.
-Summoner group various minions are now the Tier of the Summoner instead of always Godlike.
-Anima Minions are now Ancient tier.
-Gorgon stoned duration is no longer reset back to full upon being hit with the ability again.

-Reworked how the Rage group variant's aggro settings are handled for less problems.
-Tameable boss AI is no longer set to only target players and tames to fix aggro problems with them vs wild dinos.
**Structures: **
-Cursed Statue added, a structure that will allow you to curse imbued items, modifying the imbues in various ways.
-Egg Collector now has a trophy slot.
-Eggselerator added. Crafted in the Soul Grinder, greatly speeds up egg production for the Egg Collector.
-Added a 1 second cooldown to button presses on Omega Upgrade Bench and Cursed Idol to prevent spamming of the imbue/curse system.
-Beacon spawn chances all revamped, giving a much more targeted chance for each tier.
-Zodiac Trophy can now spawn correctly.

**Items: **
-Kill credit is now given correctly to players when dinos debuffed by inversion get killed from absorbing damage.
-Getaway orb cooldown buff now has a description on the icon.
-Fixed a bug where All Stats imbues weren't being removed by unequipping items that had them.
-Fixed a bug where Omega Souls were not dropping from wild Omega through Ancient tier dinos.
-Fixed a bug where player ranks were shrinking stats that weren't health when unequipping armor.
-Unique Featherlight saddle Lightbringer can no longer create starfires from Fire tick damage.
-Soul shard stack size increased to 1000.
-Ark Omega will now disable Combat Trainer entirely if stacked together.
-Fixed an issue that could cause empty imbues in body armor and charms that have no text and no effect, wasting an imbue slot.
-Ripper is no longer % based bleed and is now damage based bleed.
-Ripper is now only unlocked by killing any God from the rage group.
-Thunderbolts added, late game Nature weapon unlocked by killing any God from the Nature group.
-Players now lose 1 durability per armor piece when killed.
-Reworked the way all weapons have their damages multiplied by sets and uniques to make them easier to handle future balance changes.
-Hades Torch aoe light effect that prevents certain nightmare variant abilities now works on the nightmare group variant.
-Fixed a bug causing the ammo switching buff on Outburst from deactivating when equipping.
-Shock and Awe fragmenting bolts fixed.
-Drop chance of Unique Saddles doubled to 1-in-2500
-Dodge chance cap for players reduced from 95% to 90%.
-System added to grab the total quality level of set items and use it as a multiplier for set based ability damage.
-Newbie buff time increased to 3 hours. After 1 hour, XP bonus is lost. After 2 hours, damage reduction is lost.
-Dropped Hades Torch can now only be picked up by its dropping tribe or player.
-Light source buff that works on Hades Torch now only works on Dropped Torches, but the radius has been doubled.
-Effects of the Zodiac soul temporarily disabled.

Ark Omega V2.7 Patch Notes:

Dinos:
-Ancient unique gods added. Soul allows upgrading an ancient to unique tier.
-unique gods and ancient unique gods can only be damaged by the same species
-dodos can now be carried.
-tier spawn chances for basic through Omega carried over from no-tame to the normal game mode. (10% fewer basics, similar beta/alpha, double prime/ultimate/omega)
-Treasure variant added. Killing provides a buff to players that reveals nearby loot chests. The higher the tier, the wider the buff radius.
-Nightmare Group God/Sin/Zombie God will only heal for 1% of max health if getting a kill on a wild dino instead of 25%.
-the shock debuff on lightning damage has a 1 second cooldown between applications.
-Cooldown UI fixed for Nuclear dinos.
-Lootsets created for Godlike and Ancient looticorn.
-Essence variant is now 90% dodge instead of 90% Damage reduced.
-Unclaimed dodos from the dodo cage can now be shoved around to pick where you want them to go.
-Windstorm particle size scaled down to put it in line with the other storms.
-Group Gods summoned from God Eggs (no-tame) are no longer Achatinas.
-Vertical distance check for bosses removed.
-Boss Hitcap removed (Be careful with this, or items will not drop).
-Fixed a bug allowing minions to drop items.
-Group variants are now only 10x as likely to drop items and not 50x. Uniques remain 50x.
-No-Tame chances for a wild unique dino to become a unique god (1%) moved into the normal game mode (previously 0.5%).
-Fixed an issue with Rider scaling on Colossus dinos.
-Updated crafting dinos with all of the most recent items.
-Alpha Raptor can now pounce.
-Split out the boss and normal dino stat calculations to reduce the math done on multiplier calculations for normal dinos.
-Colossus dinos no longer use an additional multiplier if they are a boss.
-Fixed an issue with egg summoned Unique Gods not getting the murder players buff and being potentially passive.
-Increased Turkey attack radius by 20% for reasons.
-Fixed an issue with Lucky Dinos not applying the aggro debuff when attacked.

Structures:
-Replaced beacon mesh with a custom one from Zythara.
-UGG trophies can now be placed in an altar to summon Zodiac, and are not consumed.
-UGG trophy is now a white dynamic drop particle when dropped on the ground.
-Paragon levels now directly effect the drop chance of items (10% per item).
-Godlike and Ancient tier summons for bosses added to the beacon.
-support added for skeletal dodos to the dodo cage.
-egg generation for unclaimed dodos in no-tame with the egg collector increased >1000%. (Guaranteed every 11 mins).
-The base of the UGG trophy now displays the name of the tier killed.
-Fixed particle effect scaling for Oz and Beyonder on Set Mannequins
-Beacon collision settings changed. No Longer has any collision in any way.
Items:
-Getaway orb summons unrideable dinos in no-tame (that are now on your team).
-Midas Touch now functions properly on the Midas set.
-Goldskin now functions properly on the Midas Set.
-function added to update description on unique charms when equipped.
-XP pots can no longer be stacked to gain multipliers of every potion combined.
-Over Easy loot chest reveal function runs every 3 seconds instead of every 5, with the range increased from 10 foundations to 20.
-Unique Group God souls can no longer be placed in the Altar to summon Zodiac. Trophies must now be used.
-Wake up darts can no longer be used to heal gods.
-Kaleidoscope no longer deals area damage unless first striking a target.
-Reduced DR% on vengeance set.
-Sets that heal from elemental damage taken are now post mitigation to prevent self healing and healing for exponentially more than you would actually be taking in damage.
-Stamina cost for stormbringer is now 20/sec or 5% stamina, whichever is greater.
-Stormbringer storms are now instantly destroyed when you stop casting to prevent stacking dozens of storms.
-Fixed a bug causing imbues to be free.
-Mid Game Unique weapons added.
-Fixed an issue with the 2 fall damage bonuses on Overload not working properly.
-Nightvision potions no longer require it to be night time for the vision, same with Eclipse and Abduction.
-Fixed an issue with the player Nightvision buff toggle not working.
-New characters now start off with the stone sickle and knockout club.
-Cleaned up a direct reference to the dynamic system on Paragon Souls to prevent possible looping issues.
-Fixed an issue that could prevent the new variants from having Paragon levels applied.

Other:
-Progression guide updated in the F1 guide up to Zodiac.
-Framework added for no tame to use unique saddles to spawn unique gods with the saddle buffs for a chance at increased loot.
-Zodiac is no longer a "Unique Dino" to fix the way the fight works, instead the Altar will scan the map for one before allowing another to spawn.
-Scoreboard now creates a new slot if you start a new character.
-The newbie buff will not be re-added after a mind-wipe.
-Treasure God can now spawn at the Omega Beacon like the other Lucky Gods, and has a section in the guide.
-Player ranks on no-tame no longer multiply non-health stats.

**Ark Omega V2.6d Patch Notes**

-Paragon Levels now multiply the EXP reward from killing.
-Cap of Invisibility is now a legacy item and is no longer obtainable. Existing ones will remain.
-Reflect Shield no longer uses a custom mesh. The wooden shield mesh is now reskinned at runtime with the Metal skin.
-Reflect Shield reflect damage now gets credit for kills.
-Reflect Shield no longer has rebound.
-Reflect shield with Defender's Collective explosion now gets credit for kills.
-Wild Titans can now spawn Group Variant, Godlike, and Ancient in No-Tame.
-Fixed a bug where the Unique Ant saddle would remove the mate boost bonus entirely when unequipping the saddle.
-Shatter now does bonus damage to resource group variant.
-Fixed various issues with the scoreboard that occur when a player gets either a kill or a death but doesn't have one of the other yet.
-The Scoreboard can now be sorted by clicking on the header buttons.
-Unique charm buff now says charm instead of saddle.
-Unstoppable unique charm now also blocks Guardian variant reflected damage.
-Zodiac is now flagged as a unique dino, and only 1 can exist on the map at a time.

-Vengeance no longer loses its 3 piece bonus when you have 4 or 5 pieces equipped.
-Player Ranks now provide a 50% bonus to health, calculated after all other bonuses.

-God Potions added. 10%+Instant full heal. Cannot be used in combination with other potions.
-Beyonder set now has a particle effect.
-Charms can now be upgraded to higher quality levels with charm shards.
-Suicide button added to the Escape menu. Can be used while KO to die.
-Midas Set is now functional.
-Stormbreaker windstorm Opacity is greatly reduced.
-Avalanche no longer heals you for full ice damage taken.
-Fixed a bug where using Essence to imbue items was using the wrong cost.
-Unique Saddle quality can now be upgraded in the Omega Upgrade Bench.
-Boss hit cap increased to 50%.

-New variant: Armored. Incoming/Outgoing damage % is equal to its % health. So at 10% health, it only deals/takes 10% damage.
-New variant: Nuclear. Hold X to charge up a massive explosion. Huge area and damage. Costs life to use.

**Ark Omega V2.6c Patch Notes**

-You no longer get frenzy on kill with just one piece of the Reaver set.
-Fixed an issue where the Lethal bonus would stick with the player after unmounting the Lethal dino and mounting another dino.
-Fixed an issue where picking up a net gun with one on your hotbar would force the new one to stack onto the hotbar.
-Fixed an issue preventing most of the Alphas from being damageable by wild dinos.
-Fixed an issue that was causing the boomerang to gain an additional 100% of its base attack damage when thrown.
-Fixed an issue with Unique dinos with the tracker variant not having their Tier count towards the abilities effects.
-Fixed an issue where the Nature variant's Tsunami still had far too much push.
-Removed a vertical distance detection modifier on Tornados to see if it prevents tossing large trapped enemies into the sky.

-Reduced the AoE damage radius on Tempest's 4 piece bonus to Chromatic Boomerang from 3 foundations to 2.
-Cut damage from Kaleidoscope's elemental projectiles in half.
-Reduced Chromatic Boomerang's thrown damage by 25%.
-Fairy variants now heal for 0.5% per tier instead of 1% for every tier and 2% for Godlike.
-Meltdown deactivates below 10% health and cannot be reactivated unless health is above 10%, and can also move while healing (but cannot attack).
-Supernova cooldown reduced to 20 seconds, and stamina cost increased to 40%.
-Godlikes and Ancients now unlock the mid game weapons when killed (instead of specifically Omegas).
-Duration of the Net Gun net reduced to 15 seconds and the net velocity is increased by 50%.
-Craptivator now also works as a compost bin.
-Craptivator crafting speed doubled (also applies to fertilizer).
-Harvester AoE stomp now harvests bushes.
-Translocator warp damage now takes into account the weapon %.
-Can no longer reroll Unique Charms.
-Set items can now have their quality upgraded in the Upgrade Workbench. This allows you to get better imbue rerolls. Doesn't change item stats.
-Particle effects for all versions of the Cursed debuffs are now hidden in first person view.
-Frenzy particle effects are now hidden in first person view.
-Nightvision on Eclipse/Abruption and nightvision potions is now on by default instead of off by default. Can be toggled with G.
-The World Boss beam on the beacon will give a local warning text.
-Fixed a bug causing Burning Idol to do bonus damage to Nightmare variants in the day instead of the night.
-Leeches moved to the low rate spawn system.
