- Feature: Added gene giver serum. Gene giver - a very rare serum that gives one of the rare genes after use. Deathless, shapeshifter or perfect senescent.
- Feature: Added an option to disable the display of genes from the mod in the editor.
- Changes: The texture of the serums has been replaced. Now they have a clear handle.
* Serums no longer have variations in texture, but almost every serum has its own unique one.
- Changes: The serum generator is now disabled by default. Now a different mechanic of serums is used as the main one.
* Serum generation can still be enabled in the settings.
* These changes are aimed at optimizing the impact of the mod on the launch of the game. The new version does not affect the launch, unlike the old one.
- Changes: Serum case has been replaced by serum component. defName and crafting cost have not been changed.
- Changes: Serums now require 30 plasteel to craft.
- Changes: The color of xenotype icons in dialogs with xenotype selection is now calculated relative to only the basic set of genes, without taking into account doublexenotypes.
- Changes: The range of cost of serums relative to the xenotype contained has been increased. Xenotypes with archites should be significantly more expensive.
- Changes: Some harmony patches are now only applied with the appropriate option. (currently the background gene and hide gene patches)
* In this regard, a restart is required to apply or cancel them.
* This is done so that these patches are no longer called by the game if they are disabled. Which is completely insignificant, but will improve performance with the mod.

- Feature: Added the "Telepath" gene. Carriers of this gene can enter into social interactions with psychically sensitive pawns at a distance.
- Feature: Added genes for cat voices.
- Feature: Added cat tail gene.
- Feature: Added "Blood psylink" gene. This gene gives the carrier a psylink and gradually replenishes psyfocus.
- Changes: Psylink gene icon has been replaced.
- Changes: Due to the number of genes, the chance of genes spawning in vanilla gene packs has been reduced by 10 times.
- Changes: Added icons and corrected descriptions for pattern aptitude genes (creator aptitude, rogue aptitude, etc.)
- Changes: Icons for voice genes have been replaced. They still use the same general icon, but now the icon is more descriptive.
- Fix: Gene Matching now ignores melanin genes.
- Fix: Fixed a bug due to which a save load caused the gestation to end instantly.

- Changes: Genes that prevent skill decay have been optimized. Now their impact on performance should be minimal.
* Due to this optimization, the effect of these genes will work even if they are not active.
- Fix: Xenotypes filter no longer requires a restart to apply changes.
- Fix: Pawns with a monogender gene will now have their names consistent with their gender.
- Fix: Tattoos are now displayed correctly with skins. Only skins from the mod are valid.
* On old saves, skins may lose color or turn green/red. Use "DEV: Fix broken gene types on load" option in the mod settings menu.
- Fix: South heads textures now looks less flat.

On old saves, the changed genes will most likely have an incorrect type.
If any bugs occur, use the "DEV: Fix broken gene types on load" option in the mod settings menu.

- Feature: Wings will now use the Pathfinding Framework when available.
- Feature: Added 3 new attachable outcome - Shapeshifter recruit, undead recruit and blankind recruit. (Ideology DLC)
- Feature: Now, if the ideology has the appropriate precepts, development points will be awarded for undead resurrection, serum used, shapeshift and post reimplantation. (Ideology DLC)
- Feature: Now if a pawn with the "Xenotype gestator" gene is a shapeshifter, then it can gestate any xenotype.
- Fix: Cumulative opinion genes now work correctly in caravans.

- Feature: Post reimplanters will now recruit resurrected pawns when possible.
- Feature: A rare trait shiftphobe has been added; pawns with this trait will not be able to use shapeshifter ability.
- Feature: Added check for preferred xenotype for shapeshifter gene ability.
- Feature: Added option to fix broken gene types.
- Changes: Checks for the shapeshift and xeno gestator abilities have been moved to the ability menu to reduce UI load.
- Changes: The mechanics of the “Angel beauty”, “Hard-minded”, "Selection", "By blood" and "By dust" genes have been changed; now the effect of these genes is not immediate, but cumulative.
* This was done to optimize and reduce the load of opinion calculations.
* Now, instead of an hourly passive check, there is a daily check if the gene is present.
- Fix: Genepack generation has been slightly improved. Now they should be more balanced.
- Fix: Fixed a bug due to which some abilities disappeared when a reimplanter was present.
- Fix: Fixed a bug due to which dust pawns with the incorrect xenotype tag could not eat dust food.

On old saves, the changed genes will most likely have an incorrect type.

- Feature: Spawner genes now message about spawning.
- Feature: Nutrients injector now gives a temporary buff that reduces hunger.
- Balance: The nutrients injector recipe has been changed. Now it's crafted from ultranites, not nutrients.
- Balance: The calculation of gestation time for the "Xenotype gestator" gene has been changed. Now it depends not only on the complexity of the xenotype, but also on the gestational period of the carrier.
- Balance: Corpse reimplanter abilities no longer consume resurgent cells.
- Fix: Significantly improved performance when using xeno-tree. Now, when there are many pawns in the colony, opening the xeno-tree menu will not cause lag.
- Fix: Improved optimization of checks for gene activity for abilities.
- Fix: Gestator genes can no longer be used in the case of active gestations or preventive hediffs.
- Fix: Most ability checks will be cached whenever possible to reduce UI load.
- Fix: Abilities that should not be multiselected will no longer appear when multiselecting pawns.

- Feature: Added additional gene reimplanters.
- Feature: Serums can now be retunned directly. If appropriate technology is available.
- Feature: Added reset button in settings.
- Balance: Reimplanters are no longer mutually exclusive.
- Balance: The mechanics of the "Undead" gene have been changed. Now experience and background are erased only if the brain is destroyed.
* Also, the "Resurgent" gene no longer has additional effects from the "Undead" gene.
* Now the reincarnation effect of the "Undead" gene is only triggered if the pawn cannot be resurrected.
- Fix: Fixed a very rare bug related to the disappearance of the reimplanter ability.

- Feature: Added Xeno-tree. The Xeno-tree is a rare tree that can be obtained from quests. It is capable of spawning babies of any xenotype, at the player’s choice.
- Feature: Added a new gestator gene. Xenotype gestator - can gestate any xenotype if the carrier’s genes match with this xenotype by at least 40%.
- Feature: Xeno-forcer genes will now spawn in genepacks, but with a very small chance.
- Feature: Added Shapeshifter gene. Shapeshifter - Grants an ability that allows you to obtain genes of any xenotype of your choice. The ability can be reused.
- Feature: Added shapeshifter xenotype - Ashen. Ashen - incredible warriors who are able to change their xenotype.
- Feature: Added new Archite aptitude genes.
- Feature: Added more scarifier genes.
- Feature: Added new meme Xenotypes supremacy. Xenotypes supremacy - Gives a +2 mood bonus to pawns for each xenotype in the faction, but imposes serious debuffs on the use of animals and mechanoids. For playthrough with xenopawns-only style.
- Feature: Incorrectly generated sub-xenotypes will now receive a random name and custom xenotype icon.
- Feature: The Undead gene now has a short delay before resurrection.
- Fix: Gestators now leave a letter rather than just a message.
- Fix: Babies who were born with the help of gestators now correctly receive a first and last name.
- Fix: Fixed a bug due to which sometimes info gizmo about golem limit might not be displayed until save-load.
- Fix: Animals will no longer be able to eat ultranites.
- Fix: Ultranites are now a very, very undesirable food, pawns will avoid eating them.
- Fix: Fixed a bug due to which xeno-forcer genes, being xenogenes, incorrectly changed the xenotype of the carrier.
