v0.30

Update: 13 Oct, 2024 @ 9:08pm

v0.29

- Steve came to the world of Aether through what those few that have managed to establish communication with them as 'Aether Portals', a glowing doorway of 'glowstone' ignited with a bucket of water. The specifics of how that kind of magic has been figured out never detailed, it is based on, and is in some way a corruption of another portal, one of opposite connotations, bearing one of the darkest rocks, opening with the sparks of flint and steel. And in it, a new material can be found.

v0.28

- New VFX for getting grabbed, mashing out, and escaping Minecart.
- New VFX for grabbing the ledge.
- Anvil physics patched where Anvil/TNT would teleport way further than they should.
- Moving while mining is slower.
- Adjusted Steve's aerial movement stats.
- Fixed odd bug where Steve's ledge would cause a crash if the object Steve is grabbing onto is broken before they fully ascend.
- Mashing in minecart now moves the character around a little.
- Lava has been reworked to now function off a block-tick-esque system instead of running several checks across the whole grid. It also now flows a little slower

Update: 10 Oct, 2024 @ 8:09pm

v0.27
- Added proper anvil physics. (First Iteration)
- Hopefully patched stage articles being caught by Steve's fishing rod. Funny as it is, it obviously breaks some particularly advanced stages.

Update: 7 Oct, 2024 @ 2:23pm

v0.26
- Fixed a crash from some grabs that put Steve in Rival's default trapped states.
- Cheat menu via UTAUNT can be disabled for 10 minutes by anyone else pressing UTAUNT with Steve. Steve is also locked out of selecting options for 2 seconds, as well as being forced out of menu if hit.
- (Hopefully) Fixed an odd behavior where allies riding a minecart can endlessly die at the blast zone.
- Empty minecarts are now free reign for all Steves, which will change teams in accordance to the Steve that rides them.
- NSTRONG can now pick up a lot more things, such as Steve's TNT, Anvil, Falling Sand, and Minecart.
- This also extends to a lot of enemy objects, too.
- Coding wise, there is a variable 'steve_is_grabbable' that can be set to false to disable this behavior.

Update: 6 Oct, 2024 @ 9:05am

v0.25

- Quick patch to fix Minecart becomign stuck when boosted.

Update: 6 Oct, 2024 @ 3:06am

v0.24

- Slight update to fix NSPECIAL being unable to place blocks if Steve is at the ledge. Now it adds a bit of distance depending on if Steve has pressed left or right.

Update: 6 Oct, 2024 @ 2:55am

v0.23

- NSPECIAL changes to NSPECIAL (Air) instantly when jumping.
- Off-stage block decay has been adjusted. It now only decays in a similar way to if a block was destroyed via getting hit.
- Mining blocks you place now gives you back the material used.
- Ledge detection slightly improved.
- Steve no longer remains invincible dropping down or jumping up. However, there is a new option, climbing onto the ledge via pressing forward. It is invincible, but is also fairly slow.
- Minecart's horizontal speed boost is now capped at maximum movement speed (maximum boosted movement speed if VERY recently boosted).
- Other friendly Steves can hop into your Minecarts, which will act just as if they've placed and ridden the miencart themselves.
- Allies can now use the minecart similar to Steve. Since they are unable to place rails, they can only slowly move along the ground, however they are able to jump out of the cart, as well as attack fairly freely within it. A good deal of movement options get increased speed in the Minecart.
- Minecarts recieve reduced horizontal knockback when full (Except if it's full of TNT).
- Fixed an odd bug that caused the Fishing Rod's No-Gravity effect to linger when quickly hit with TNT.
- Obsidian now cracks a brighter purple, making it much easier to tell if it's being broken.
- Minecarts are marginally faster.
- Steve's air speed has been adjusted.
- Algorithm to determine Steve's movement along platforms have been updated have much less scenarios where Steve gets stuck at the ledge.
- Fixed off USPECIAL bug where Steve was at the wrong frame for only one frame at the start of gliding.
- Hopefully fixed a persistent Turbo Mode bug that caused Steve's 'spammable attacks' to only occur once.

Update: 1 Oct, 2024 @ 1:27pm

v0.22

- NSTRONG no longer pulls enemy in an upwards arc. Instead, reeling NSTRONG will pull enemies in a straight line. towards a point in front of Steve. This special effect and hitstun is locked up to 7 frames, except if one has Rune A.
- Mining blocks no longer speads decay to adjacent blocks.
- Mining materials has been slowed down a bit to compensate for how much mileage they can get for it.
- Minecart scaling has been severely reduced, damage output severely reduced, and slightly increased the degrading grab power if the minecart is airborne.
- Hopefully fixed crashes related to NSTRONG and FSPECIAL as of their special parry-invincible grab properties.
- Added visual effects for the minecart while it is moving.
- Added a small delay if a minecart gets hit where it will not grab opponents, as to prevent a stray minecart launching someone into the blast zone simply because they were incorrectly positioned.
- Adjusted movement speeds for strongs.
- USPECIAL can now cling to ledges, including ones of blocks Steve has placed themself. Currently, Steve can only drop off or jump up, with only a second of invincibility given once the ledge is grabbed. If the block is destroyed, it will simply drop Steve. This refreshes Steve's jumps.
- USPECIAL no longer has a free boost and extra boosts are marginally less powerful.
- All of Steve's special skins now have their special properties toggleable. By default and reload they are disabled, and clicking on the logo embedded in the warning sign behind Steve will enable these effects.

Update: 27 Sep, 2024 @ 6:06pm

v0.21

- Removed NSPECIAL hotkey to NSTRONG, as it leads to many occurances where it would put you to a slow grab instead of a much less committal NSPECIAL.
