Today's update 20 Nov22

Today's update consists of changes in several areas:
Firstly more "behind the scenes" work and development/testing on our new map that will be released soon.
Secondly we have further refinements for the Soldier class
And lastly you will start to see the beginning of our Barbarian 3rd skill tree rework - alot more on this to come in future updates

Map Changes
More work on Tarrochs Trial upcoming map(entrance remains disabled for now)
Eccentric Collector Quest - NPC has moved directly outside of the Deeper Caverns dungeon

Soldier Changes
Mortar skill completed and now in explosives skill tree.
Mortar missiles sped up

Mortar Shot - renamed to Rocket Shot

Inferno shot removed
Cluster bomb skill completed and moved into explosive skill tree
Chain Gun/Burning Barrel/CLuster Bomb re arranged

Counter Measure
Updated particle effect

Mercenary
now activates/works correctly

Barbarian
"Frenzy" skill reworked into "Lightning Frenzy" skill
"Raging Fury" skill- reworked into "Super Conductor" skill
"dual wield mastery" skill reworked into "Ancient Elements" skill
New war paint/skin colours upon character creation for new aspiring Barbarians!

Hi everyone,

Todays update is focused on two areas. First is continued work and development on the Soldier class. Secondly we are introducing the background work for a new end game map "Tarrochs Trial's". This map will be switched off for now but likely to be fully available in the next update. The map is about 70% completed and we are now testing and refining the balance.

Background work for new Tarrochs Trials area in place
Added a Respec Vendor

The Temple of Ice
Final Boss Ice pillar skill. Returned damage is reduced by approx -50%

Soldier Changes

Gun Powder skill Tree
Burst Fire - Completed Tier bonus

Explosive skill Tree
Chain Gun - Tweaked slow effect on enemies hit

Front Line skill Tree
Counter Measure skill added to front line skill tree.
Ground Quake skill added to front line skill tree.
Juggernaught - rescaled to 8% bonus per level from 10% per level

Charge Bar skill Tree
Air Strike bug allowing skill to be cast at 0% charge fixed
Air Strike Icon
Flame Hunter - new icon added
Tread Fire skill - removed
Field Medic Completed
Mortar skill (test version) - added

Hi everyone,

Another balance pass/small update for the Soldier. Additionally during our play testing with the Soldier we were visiting act 5, so a few small tweaks to Act5 also included.

Act 5 changes
Hill Tops
Minor cosmetic and path finding issues fixed
"Chill Fang" Boss now has an enhanced loot drop pool.

Guardians Cave
Adjusted Boss arena

The Golden Crypt
Now scales from level 65 - 100 making this open up a little earlier.

Increased gold rewards from all quests in act 5/6
and added greater chance for some enemies to drop slightly more gold.

Soldier - Skill Changes

Volley Shot - now added/reworked
Burning Barrel - New skill added
Flame Hunter - New skill added
Air Strike - New skill added
Bayonet Stab - removed

Scatter shot
Moved tier 3 to tier 2
New tier 3 - Scatter Shot now generates +50% additional charge.

Laser Shot
Tier bonuses now added

Cannon Mastery
Move speed debuff reduced from -15% to -10%

Shield wall
Movement speed debuff starts at -10% instead of -15%

Burst Fire
added in several tier bonus
Tweaked animation

Chain Gun
Increased damage by +10%
added a slowing effect

Counter Measure
Moved to final tier skill

Hi everyone,

small update adding minor act5 QoL changes that have been requested and minor tweaks/bug fix for the Soldier class as its testing continues.

Map Changes - Act5
⦁ Deeper Caverns - has a mini boss arena and more importantly a loot chests and a portal taking you back the surface after defeating the boss. This is mainly a QoL change.
⦁ Guardians Cave - now contains loot after defeating the mini boss event. Very minor cosmetic improvements to map.

Skill Changes
⦁ Pistol Whip and Charged Shot skills change places
⦁ Scatter shot - reduced damage scale per level from +3% to +2%
⦁ Mortor Shot - mana cost increased

Bug Fix
⦁ Bug affecting Soldier max charge bar fixed.
⦁ Grenade - fixed bug with levels unlocking too early.
⦁ Fixed bug with flint lock sound effect

Hi everyone,

Another update for the Soldier class.

Adjustments to skill tree 1 in preparation for future updates
Scatter shot - decreased range from 3.5 to 3
Scatter shot - added some of the tier bonuses
Supressive fire - increased slow effect and added the tier bonuses
Supessive fire - now has a 2 second cooldown
Laser Shot - increased damage
Shield Throw - increased damage
Grenade - increased damage and gains a 50% shield break chance
Grenade - swapped Tier 2/3 bonus around
Shrapnel grenade - now reduces enemy armour
Shrapnel grenade - Tier bonuses now in place
Shrapnel grenade - New Icon
Chain Gun not casting correctly 50% of the time, bug resolved!

Hi everyone,

Another update for the Soldier class. Alot of balance/tweaks based on feedback and full play throughs.


New skills
Scatter Shot added to skill tree 1
Suppressive Fire skill tree 1( replaces explosive shot)
Veteran skill added to skill tree 2
Squad Tactics added to skill tree 3(place holder for now)

Rebalance/Tweaks
Grenade increases explosion radius slightly
Grenade - damage increased slightly
Grenade - mana cost bug fixed
Pistol mastery - individual affix bug fixed
Animation/speed for special skills increased slightly up a bit
Flame touched - lighting effect fixed
Cannon shot - tightened up spread of lower level shots
Cannon shot - reduced screen shake
Cannon mastery +damage to all not just physical
Intense focus, also gains cast speed 15%
Shield throw damage +10%
Shield throw - fixed bug stopping enemy shields from breaking
Special/tab 4 skills needs level restrictions adding/reviewing
laser shot - removed shield break
Mercenary description added
Shrapnel grenade - damage increased slightly
Burning release, reduce amount of monster/missiles spawned by -1
chain gun - rescaled damage at lower levels
Burst fire - reduce mana cost by ~20%
Burst fire - rescaled damage(stronger at lower levels)
Pistol whip - added shield break ability

A further update aimed at the new Soldier class.

Soldier- Change log
flintlock - changed animation and given custom icon
fixed cast bug from previous version
flintlock now fire alot more often!
Added Intense focus skill
Burst Fire - enhanced particle effects
Chain Gun- enhanced particle effects
shrapnel grenade - now in place, needs level perks
Laser shot skill updated
shield charge
correctly gives charge
increases damage per point invested correctly

Intense Focus skill added
Flame Touched passive skill added

Today's update 26 June22

Hi everyone,

We are introducing our new class the "Soldier" that we have been designing and working on recently. The Solider will use a variety of ranged weapons such as rifles, cannons, pistols, grenades as well as a melee skill tree.

This release is more of a tech demo than anything at this stage as we designing and building up the skills etc. There will be bugs and incomplete balance but this allows us to start getting feedback and testing the class.

As usual feel free to add feedback as this will be incorporated into the design.
