@Agane: Sounds like a odd bug to have, but perhaps it might be a conflict, your best bet is to post this into Bugs Report

Possible bug: Advanced Psi Underlay gives 4-5 damage on Void Rift, but the Alien Psi Underlay gives 3-6. Null lance scales from 7-12 to 9-14 as it should so I'm assuming void rift damage is wrong?

* note: I'm also using the Warlock Crown mod and More Psi Abilities but those should be independent

i've been using this with great success for a couple years, but i've recently added the Light and Lightning Specializations RPGO plugin, and that isn't wanting to play nicely. i've found the weapon section in the ini:

WeaponCategories=(gauntlet, replace_psiamp))

i would have assumed "replace_psiamp" would have been sufficient to allow that character to use these abilities (she DOES have the psi vest equipped, because it's used in other specializations she has)... do i also need to add the vanilla "PsiAmp" tag, or am i about to bork my game?

Will this outright remove the Psionic Amp from the game, or does it add the Psionic Underlay in addition to the Psi Amp as an animation alternative?

And for anyone wondering, the mod works for mod classes as long as they use the default game's psi amp (rather than a new one added by a mod). I'm using this in tandem with a couple of psi classes and it looks great.

Aww. Well, uhm....I'll try to find an answer, but no promises. It's gonna be a while before I can try out any XCOM stuff; hardware broke down so things're a bit tight for now. But if I find anything that might work, I'll let you know.

@Anihilatitron I looked at that mod, unfortunately it won't work because I'm using the secondary weapon slot for my psi-vest. Would've been perfect for me otherwise!

Primary secondaries, then equip boot or iron knuckles from the melee mod. This will make the character appear to be unarmed, like a psionic pugilist.

omfg... I come back after a long break, looking through all the wonderful stuff modders have made, and I find this gem. Thank you :) I think the amps look decent, but its annoying to have them clip/glitch/ruin animations and it gets old when every psi op has to grab a purple ball from their back, especially with the previous mentioned clipping. Cant wait to use this for my next playthrough :)

I could use some assistance. When I try to add this to my ongoing game (using Psi overhaul), I cannot equip the underlays at all (it says Psionic Operative only). If I start a new game, I can, but I cannot see any change in stats. No increase in will or in offensive Psi. Could this be because of not having researched techs (the new game test was done in a rush with console commands), or is it intended behaviour?

there is 3 tiers yes.. normal upgraded and alien (i dont remember the correct names off the top of my head)

Last tier is gotten after gatekeeper autopsy if memory serves me

@Celeritas all this does is overriding the basegame psi amps which are made as secondary weapons
