Something in this mod is breaking the Chosen Sarcophagus Room.
The custscene doesnt trigger only when this mod is on, and i get stuck in the room forever.

Every now and then i get warnings about a pending state not added to the history and "vip loot" being mentioned.
The less warnings there are , the better it would be. Please have a look at it.

it IS posibble to use updated version of system infiltration on top of this, you just have to uncheck system infiltration in mod in mcm and the other one will take over.

is there a way to add an interact w the Fulton Harness to have the ability to extract at range?

if not how would one go about adding that function in?

I am new and looking to learn so I could do it myself I just don't understand where to begin to look for a starting point.

So many great stuff with this but one gripe is that the smart overwatch ability makes it so that a soldier can overwatch despite using a weapon that requries two actions, in this case it's the cannon from the A Better Barracks TLE change. So is there a way to edit the config or something to disable this from the cannon entirely? Like for the Sniper Rifle and other weapons?nn

Still love this mod, but it uses an older version of System Infiltration and it's not possible to use the updated version of that on top of Tactical Options. That's a shame, because as far as I know this mod is the only one that provides smart overwatch and gremlin loot for WotC.

Gremlins Grab Loot could only be used once. I could not use gremlin to grab loots for a second time.
If I used gremlin to grab loot, I could not do remote hacking either

That's a long time issue with the original mod. The game doesn't have a concept of temporary hacking, so you just have to not abuse it.

Im having a issue with the Tactical Overwatch and the Gun Kata Ability of the Akimbo Mod. It seems that having any character with Gun Kata somehow allows the soldier to take unlimited Overwatches. I cant say for certain its specifically an issue with this mod however the i get the "Tactical Overwatch" Flyover whenever it happens.

The AI always knows your soldiers positions from turn 1. It's just programmed to pretend it doesn't while you're concealed. You can test it in vanilla by sneaking close to an objective and watch as one of the enemy coincidentally patrols in such a way as to reveal them. Then reload and make a different move and they will just keep coincidentally finding you, because they're programmed to drop the act once you're at the target.

the hard part would probably be removing knowledge of your soldiers positions from the Ai.

when you come back to this, if you could either remove it for better compatibility with Iridars, or somehow fix the conflict when disabled, that would be amazing.

Also I noticed you mention the possibility of removing the "objectives don't break stealth"
Please don't. It's amazing when it works, even if it doesn't do so fully.
For example, it allows you to hack the door to an advent van without breaking stealth, then sneak up and open the door the next turn, giving you either half or your full turn to sprint back to evac depending on how you time it with patrols.
(i.e., solo specialist missions. which is epic, and sometimes necessary in lw)

also would it be possible to say, after concealment is broken, have a variable that denotes if it was broken from an objective or not, then force the "toggleconcealment" console command right afterwards if it was?

so, for some reason, when using this with lwotc, mod jam, and system infiltration 2.2, your mod makes the si 2.2 ability disappear even when it's completely disabled, in config and mod menu.
unfortunately that's all the info i've got right now. hope it helps somehow.

Yeah I just rebuilded the character and signed on the system infiltration of iridar. Apparently he fixed that. Will see.

That's always been an issue, even with the original mod. The game itself never checks if the stat has a bonus applied to it because in vanilla it never can. You just have to self-police.

So apparently the hack bonus i get with system infiltration is permanent... I will rebuild again the character i guess and remove that future. It was a great future though

I'd really love one additional feature though: besides "OverwatchAimBonus"
"AllowCrit" there should be a "OverwatchCritPenalty" as well.
With the right weapon, upgrades, range, abilities and so on crit chance can be very high... it would be nice to be able to crit on tactical overwatch, but I think having the full crit chance might be too powerful.
OverwatchCritPenalty it could be a percentage of the normal crit chance, so every weapon keeps some crit chance. Or a just a flat penalty, so that only crit specialists would keep a bit of crit chance.

Question to everyone who plays with tactical overwatch - how does it work it practice? Do enemies know where you placed the cone and will they try to avoid it?

Oh also something I noticed, I should report. Interacting with advent cargo crates (you mark them, then skyranger picks them up or the advent drop ship does when they're red to be extracted by advent.) you will be spotted and unconcealed. The game will report you're concealed but aliens will still shoot at you and everyone else.

Yes, gremlin action is missing an image. Unfortunately the way the game is done, you cannot simply add an image there.

Yes, unfortunately it seems that the concealment option does not work properly. And the root of the issue seems to be somewhere modders cant really touch. So Im afraid the only solution is to not use this feature, I may actually removing it when I have time.

@Feezec that seems to be a deeply coded vanilla mechanic. Despite introducing concealment in this game, Friaxis REALLY didn't want anyone to use it. The whole game cheats to pull you out of concealment as soon as it can, and if you somehow make it to the objective while still concealed, it just flat out strips it from you. I guess the idea is supposed to be that taking the item triggered an alarm or something. Sometimes this mod stops it, sometimes it doesn't. I'm guessing it depends on how the individual objectives trigger it. I've had half my squad lose it and half keep it sometimes.

Bug report: interacting with objectives breaks concealment.

I started a Blacksite mission through the Skirmish menu.
My concealed Reaper interacted with the Vial.
My Reaper lost concealment and the nearby enemies activated.
My Reaper's Shadow ability was disabled due to carrying the objective item.

The only other active mods are Mod Config Menu and XCOM Highlander.

Yes, normal overwatch has a -30% aim penalty. As in this overwatch you are ready and focussed in a specific area, there is no aim penalty, like in a regular shot.

This was the idea behind it. A stronguer more accurate overwatch, at the cost of needing to plan where you are overwatching.

You can always take the mode and tune it to your liking anyway ;)

Isn't normal overwatch at -30% though? +0 is a buff in that case.

I always thought the point was to prevent some unit you don't care about from eating the overwatch before the thing you really need to kill comes at you.

I read again on teh original mod page
and they specifically state a +0 to the bonus with the option to give on in the ini files

So If I remember correctly, instead of a regular overwatch, is an overwatch which will only react to the enemy actions in the cone of fire. The benefit is that it does not apply the overwatch aim penalty (because you are focussing in a zone of control). That is the idea.

If you update the mod could you add the following options from the Various Options mod?

2. Smoke Grenade Grants Xcom Concealment, enemies will still get the Vanilla bonuses

10. Carry Corpses - Soldiers are able to carry non-xcom corpses, EVAC-ing with a corpse gives the corpse as a loot item

11. Evac Carry Only - Soldiers are able to also only EVAC what they're carrying and remain in the mission themselves
Note : That there's no animation for corpses EVAC'ing on their own, so they will just disappear instead of animate

@13Crusader13(TWW2019Top8Winner), honestly i have been out of modding for a while now. I still intend to make something more with this mod Includding improve the hacking, and srteamline some things that not work as good, but I really dont have the time now. Also feel free to ask me for the source files if you are interested in tunning the mod yourselves.
