Increase your accuracy.
But it is not simple. This calculates accuracy in a different way than vanilla systems. It mainly prevents the bullet from firing so strangely that it sometimes feels irrational.

Yes it is very easy.
Turn off the use advanced accuracy option. Turn it off and everything related to accuracy is set to vanilla.
Only the projectile's speed will work.

Use smoke grenades. That's Tynan's intention. The new mechanoid turret is designed to have a longer range than a vanilla sniper rifle, so smoke grenades are virtually essential.
Or change the settings in this mode's options. You can exclude turrets from higher accuracy or lower the overall firing level of all turrets.
But smoke grenades are probably the best alternative. It is the intention of the developer.

the new mechanoid turret are very op with this mod, they snipe your colonists, doing exstreme amounts of damage even with flak armor. They have ridiculous range.

Update :
Fixed a bug where missed bullets did not hit enemies at all other than the target.
Physical hit probability has been added to the option.
This is the chance that a missed bullet will do damage if it hits non-target enemies.

Your test method does not prove that this mod is wrong.
In many tests, no lag has ever occurred. Of the 5,000 users of yayo combat and yayo combat 2, only one has never spoken of lag. Statistically, this mode is correct to see that there is no lag.
The cause of your lag is probably the specific mod you have and the interference between this mod.

Found out, that your mod is causing extreme lag spikes. I deactivated all mods and activated them again, one by one.

If i'm reading this right it generally increases accuracy?

Cause i've seen pawns with 20 in shooting, and a gun with stupid accuracy levels still somehow miss their target by 30 feet.
