This CombiPack version is no longer maintained.
It will stay for archive reasons, but you should disable/remove it and sub to CombiPack Rock.

I just noticed that, and I also noticed something new is buggy with the renderdepth so spawned cargo trucks don't show up correctly...

A new version which is compatible with The Rock and all DLC is ready for release:
- added new room icons to the UI,
- updated objects.spritebank so the objects in the menu don't have mismatched sprites,
- added some new properties to various objects/floor materials.
- opening lottery safe to store the cash is made high priority
- removed recycling research, so you can start immedtiately with setting up the garbage chain.

...but it's useless to upload it, since zoning any custom modded room will CTD the game.
Please be patient and wait for a hotfix from the devs to fix the game engine.

Also, this happens every time there's an update (even a small one) and we still have confirmed bugs that need fixing, so the next update that restores the graphics might not be for awhile...

@YorGers Unfortunately, the update changed around the data structure of the game so the graphical data has been rearranged. Until murgh dives into the data to find where everything is (which is time consuming and tedious, things are at a standstill).

What's going on here? https://imgur.com/a/yKPG8uM These are the only 2 mods running (combipack & solarstation), disabled attract screen. Tried installing both through workshop aswell as manually, but instantly upon enabling the mod the graphics start acting up and females start identifying as laundry baskets. (I realize the attract screen is enabled in the screenshots, I've disabled it and reinstalled the mods after taking the screenshots)

What Nimrod said, the new helicopter delivery system probably breaks the delivery network that's implemented in this modpack

Any chance that your metro/heli somehow conflicts with the new stuff? Also the whole distribution system seems worked over, that is somethin that will intereact with rooms(I am just guessing here, never looked into modding this game myself)

I haven't played a minute yet, since it crashes with custom rooms - so no idea if things can cooperate or not. From what I saw people posting it seems to be more buggy than using my chinooks and metro stations to get people on and off an island. I certainly won't make two combipacks now, since maintaining one is already more than enough. So once these game issues have been solved, I'll see what I can do.

One curious question... since the Island DLC includes some of what the combipack traditionally entails (namely the chinooks), how will you treat it? Make two versions (one with chinooks and one without), keep the chinooks in & work around the vanilla game helicopters, leave them to history & be happy they're part of the vanilla game now...?

To repeat what XDelphi said... thanks for all you do mate, YOU make this game amazing and stress-free when it comes to playing modded Prison Architect! Before I discovered your modpack I would be that guy who would try to load in one mod, exit, then another, then go "WHY DOES THAT GRAPHIC NOT WORK REEEEEEEE" and then exit & try again with a different one, and then a mod would update and I'd cry inside b/c it ruined the sprites... so props to you a bazillion times for this!

I'll update this mod first and have to release it as a new version, they've changed some basic game files again...which they said they wouldn't do anymore lolz :steamfacepalm:

Murgh - I know many 'mod broken/outdated' messages are about to be barraging you so I wanted to add a look after you message; you are appreciated by many and hope that you take the time you need to update mods in a way that does not detract from your own life! You make this game amazing :D

@Murgh I have a lottery vault to store the stakes but its just full to the brim with them. There is no sell option also and can only dump them which uh, there is no easy way to do that. Also it seems the the workmen take the stakes to the vault then to the safe in which I also see a vending manager does the job of putting the lottery stakes into the lottery safe for it to be counted. I have not seen the stakes disappear when I do count lottery at the safe.

The modded roll call or the ingame roll call? The modded one requires the rollcall room plus warden/chief to teach the reform - so you can put several of those rooms in the prison with different seclevels, but need to schedule it properly since obviously they can't be at different places at the same time. I have no idea about the new ingame rollcall, haven't used that yet.

Cctv and cameras are not touched in this mod, they should work as usual since there is no reason to mod them. If it's not working then another mod might be causing it, but not this one.

The two panels required for that are mounted by workmen when they have time for it, you'll need to wait until they are both placed into the booth, then the booth should initialize and will be ready to use.

Ok, thanks. Two more things, please - first of all, am I still supposed to be using the CCTV Panel for hooking up cameras? There doesn't seem to be an option to connect cameras to it, and guards won't use it. Secondly, I'm trying to send doctors to a specific location, but I'm having trouble using the Pager feature - I'm placing a Utility Panel and trying to add a Doctor Pager panel to it and connect it, but it still says "No Pager". Any advice?

Looks like you'll just need to delete the station and place a fresh one. It's trying to read a x/y position from a truckbay which is probably no longer there, so this will stay in a loop.

@Observer there is a delete button on the engine block beneath the truck skin.

@michael123qw that money should go to a lottery vault room and stored into a money safe, don't you have it? Just use the Sell tool to sell all the cash.

Recently I had a fire in my prison from an electrical item, and I used the Callout Helipad and called in a Fire Brigade, using hoses. Once the fire was extinguished, I dismissed the team, only for the fire to start again (obviously). After cutting off the power, I used another Callout Helipad and called a Chinook Fire Brigade.

I think this confused the game with the extra NPC's, because now the Emergency Traffic Controller has a vehicle waiting for passengers, and a constant error trying to find a "nil" value. I can make it stop by deleting the entire Traffic Controller, but is there a cleaner way to just delete any stuck Emergency NPC's? Thanks.

I've only recently started using mods, but I noticed that a lot of the "top 10 mod" lists that are kinda old have a lot of mods that are just vanilla in-game features now.
From what I've read of the Island dlc coming out in a few hours, it looks like they've added a lot of Murgh's features, like helicopters and delivery filters and stuff.

honestly I don't want to recycle at all, but if thats what it takes to keep the convenience of the combipack rather than trying to put all the mods together myself, its worth it.

I take it then that I can "sell" these grant checkers to get them out off my cargo station with no ill effects?

When I start the game and I hire the "traffic terminal" from the staff menu, it spawns in as a blank sprite with only a shadow and doesnt spawn any buildings

Lottery: stakes are brought by workmen, while the managers refill the vending machines. It doesn't matter if stakes are not brought to the safe, since the safe teleports all stakes once a lottery is started. This makes sure the jackpot is calculated correctly.

Recycling: yea you need to research it first, this might be weird but it's because I wanted to keep the stand-alone version and what's inside this mod as similar as possible. SImply do the research as quickly as possible and build recycling room to get the flow of garbage going like it should.

Grant checkers: these get spawned by the cargo stations in order to complete the advanced roads grants. At first I coded them to be only spawned once, but if you forgot to activate a grant it would then not be able to complete if the checkers were already brought to exports and left the map. So they spawn whenever you put a station and enable its traffic, or when you disable its traffic, change the type and enable traffic again.

@Taeo Yeah, even if you mark it as Garbage area and place down the trash compactor, you need to have recycling researching so that unsorted trash becomes sorted and get placed into the trash compactor.

Hi again Murgh, I have a quick question about the lottery stuff. Does the mod itself break apart or something when there is like 30+ lottery stakes out? I'm asking as I see them stored but not put into the safe and only like 1 out of 30 are put into it. I hired a few vending managers to see if that helps but doesn't seem to do anything.

Hi Murgh - I was curious to know whether you've had any advanced warning/insight into the impact of the upcoming DLC (island) and whether it will force your mods into a new version again, a la Bucket/Sneezer/Slammer versions? Purely curious as I'm contemplating redesigning a big complex this week but changing mod versions will surely invalidate my combi pack components and - quite honestly - PA isn't worth playing without your mods after you've become dependent on them! Such a strange new time we exist in with the release of a big patch and TWO DLCs in under a month... As ever, thanks for the fantastic work you do for all of us; I would no longer be playing if not for the QOL you've made possible!
