There a patch for virulent overhaul?

As far as I can see there isn't actually a serious conflict between the two, as long as my mod is above his.
He didn't actually edit anything about chevaliers, the only thing that gets overwritten is the encounter rates in regular dungeons (crypt, warrens, etc); some encounters are more and some are less likely in his mod.

Def could upload a mod to address that but imo the impact on gameplay would be minimal.

Any chance for a patch for Niko_KV's Crimson Court: New Vision? https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1851455246

Well, this wasn't meant to be a nerf mod, but a flavour tweak.
Tho as far as I remember the ACC was lowered quite a bit and HP is less than 2x base HP. So he should be a bit weaker than 2 vanilla Chevaliers.

I may tweak it a bit more if I ever come back to DD, am currently taking a break from the game.

I like the idea of Chevalier being size 2 , since they were the strongest size one enemies, but adding one action makes him just as devastating, if not even more than he was before, this pretty much identical to having 2 chevaliers, i suggest making him much more harder to stun(Probably +30% on champion and +20% on veteran) since it is the best way to counter them in vanilla game, and remove or reduce accuracy debuff for the subterranean skewer.I think this could compensate 1 turn, and make make them much less annoying and broken, and more in par with other size 2 enemies.

Yeah I feel like those things are too damn strong for a 1 size. Like, there's a few room fights in CC where there's four I believe. And even ONE enemy with a double stun move that also gives -50 dgd is stupid

Perfectly balanced, as all things should be. No feedback for the discussion because it's perfect. Size 2 but having 2 actions per round makes them a perfect threat akin to the templars of the darkest dungeon, without the revelation BS

I actually have a patch for Courtyard+, I just didn't have the time to test it yet but theoretically it should work just fine.

the only problem with this mod is that i guess it lacks compatibility with the courtyard + mod , so i can't had him

:)

Good, he needs a steady diet of heroes to grow even bigger :)

He Big Boy now.

And a fucking great Enemy, that 2 action tuns this fucking Thing into a Hero-Killer

One could argue that one size 2 enemy is not really equal to two size ones, since for example you can stun both size ones with one PD grenade stopping 100% the damage, but you can't double stun a size 2 with 2 actions.

It's a fairly nuanced topic and imo two actions is not always the answer but I still feel like it makes sense for the chevalier.

For now I lowered the accuracy of Skewer, his main ability. He can still be extremely dangerous since Blast has a massive dodge debuff, potentially negating this nerf.

I agree that for any size > 1 enemies should have +N action based on how much size they take. BUT, their attacks should be balanced as well since now they have additional action per round. I do this with my own mod for every size > 1 enemies. Makes the game more... interesting.

Well, my goal wasn't to nerf him but to refashion him. Since most of the time he was part of four-party groups it'd have been just a flat out nerf to make him size 2 without any significant compensation (since those comps are now 3-man at max).

You could argue that most of the time the mob he replaced in those comps was nowhere near the powerlevel of a chevalier and you might be right. I may tinker with his stats and AI slightly but he should be considered THE threat in any composition he's in.

damn yeah i never really thought about the fact there are no size 2 enemies. still hate the 2 actions though.

Nope, this only changes the Chevalier. But there's no big CC unit by default (unless you mean the Esquire/Courtesan who are kinda tall but not actually size 2)

That's actually another reason I wanted to make Chevalier size 2, to fill in the void of size 2 courtyard enemies. The 2 action per round kinda thematically matches up with the courtyard bosses who all have multiple actions per turn, imo.

holy shit that +1 action. do the other CC big boys get more than 1 action a turn?
