I'm not 100% sure it isn't my mod. The code behind total war games is so full of jank, that it could be my mod. I am just not sure.

I have no idea why that could be happening. This mod changes nothing graphical and only affects the behind the scenes money allocation of the AI. Perhaps you have another mod installed that is causing it?

Every time I activate this mod, all the portraits of the generals, spies, and other male characters turn gray or lead-colored. Could it be because I have to load this mod in a specific order?

Awesome mod! Fixes the ai being passive and using agents instead of armies to fight. Now the ai will stack and swarm its armies and really go after you. Love it.

Should be save game compatible, but I'm not sure if it's compatible with the new world mod, as I don't know what game files it edits.

It's probably not compatible with DEI. I'd make a submod but I don't know where to find the DEI files once I have the mod downloaded.
