Will this be updated? or is it abandoned?
DarkShadow44 12 aug 2022 om 16:22
To answer my own question, yes it is.

Is the quality dependent on the skill of the pawn?

Damn I was looking for something like this but just for meat, and it being about small, easy game dropping bad quality meat (like squirrels or hares) , medium quality for things we usually consume irl like cows and chicken, and then excellent and above for increasingly hard to hunt animals (Maybe a reserved spot for Legendary should go to Thrumbo meat only)

this will be great for my illithid-run human farm

Updated again for 1.3.
Cozar  [auteur] 14 okt 2021 om 9:39
Oops. Somehow I uploaded the old version and this mod is not actually compatible with 1.3. It is now a 1.2 only mod. I will be releasing a new version for 1.3 that makes use of Quality Framework

@Hans Hmm, this could be interesting for raw materials. I might look into that, but it will have to wait until I get everything updated for 1.3.

Updated for 1.3.

We need an update :D and the same for Ores. That really good minning brings legendary and perfect Ores which increase also the stats in my opinion

This still works in 1.3?

I already have one meal/batch per one stack due to Variety Matters. What's more reason to do so?
Cozar  [auteur] 25 feb 2021 om 19:40
@Erythion The main problem with meals having quality is that each quality needs its own stack. It's also a bit strange having poor/normal/quality when simple/fine/lavish already represent that.

I thought about changing the system so cooks randomly make simple/fine/lavish based on their skill level, but I don't want to write a patch for every food mod in existence. Although...

The quality ingredients could be integrated with the Quality Cooking feature from VarietyMattersDInnerTime, maybe also make meals have quality in addition to the cook screwups?

@Wi-Fi Mero I don't know if it is CE compatible. This mod is pretty limited in scope and not combat related at all, so it should be, but make sure you keep an old save if you test it, because you probably don't want to remove this mod from an existing save.
Cozar  [auteur] 12 jan 2021 om 10:43
@123nick - It should already be compatible. Gourmet level meals have lavish preferability so they would require excellent foods. I'll clarify in the description. I limited the available quality levels because each level requires it's own stack, but I might throw in a mod setting to modify the upper and lower limits.
Wi-Fi Mero 12 jan 2021 om 10:21
Is this Combat extended compatible tho?
123nick 12 jan 2021 om 10:02
Will there be vanilla cooking expanded compat? Perhaps there should be a quality above excellent in which only gourmet level meals can be made from?
Cozar  [auteur] 12 jan 2021 om 8:15
If it's too hard, use this with Harvest Yield. The result is more total crops but only some of it can be used to make fine meals.

Because the game wasn't hard enough. Can't wait to use this in a medieval or royalty playthrough!
