Updated the Ancient Machines origin to work on 4.0; zones are hard.

ALSO, I JUST MADE A BREAKTHROUGH IN UNDERSTANDING HOW THE HECK ZONES WORK CODE WISE, SO I SHOULD BE ABLE TO GET ANCIENT MACHINES WORKING AGAIN.

TESTING A FEW THINGS, BUT THEN I WILL PUBLISH AN UPDATE, PRAISE THE OMNISSIAH.

I just spent 2.5h figuring out that this mod makes it so the autosave takes forever. Definitely doesn't work on 3.3

You can just copy english localisation file and change name to polish, frencg, German etc... and same change in first line of code in every file. I have done that for me and now works. Bdw... if You need translations i can make polish localisation file.

I've got a great idea, what if the Ancient Machines origin started off in a system with no hyperlanes leading to it, maybe only a wormhole, to explain how no one has ever found them before?

@Dragonwell the Decaying Empire origin has some really bad code. Repeating the events sso_decaying_empire.5.name and sso_decaying_empire.6.name causes saves to take forever. To my understanding looking at the code that is because both sso_decaying_empire.5.name and sso_decaying_empire.6.name create copies of themselves each time they are completed without getting rid of the planet modifiers decadent_military and indolent_population respectively to restart the events. The event description is also very vague abaut having to remove those modifires to complete the events sucsessfully.

The 'Empire in Turmoil' Origin really creates a whole new early game experience; its a challenge to keep my 250 pop empire from collapsing. The custom planetary modifiers really show you went the extra mile!

Put it at the end of your load order and it will work.

The issue was line 37 in common/solar_system_initializers/sso_empire_in_turmoil_system.txt where <class = "star"> was written instead of <class = star>.

For Decaying Empire, after you remove the planetary debuffs on them, that is it?? No event saying the empire is now back to what it was before it fell to decay? Just debuffs gone now the game can actually begin? That feels pretty weak.

Ignorant Bliss origin's naval modifer doesn't work

The United Federation Origin influence modifer doens't work either.

Decaying empire has no projects to remove the modifiers from the planets

united federation origin is kinda broken the nations that spwan with it do not have any names or ethics etc and the same thing happened for the ruined slave empire origin that dose not work ether

@bayWHZ I did warn in the mod desc that spawning 2 prescripted empires with the same origin may cause issues due to the planetary and system targeting system in Stellaris which will likely cause lots of errors if two empires of the same Stronger origin spawn too close to each other, likely rendering one origin not working right

@Cryptid I don't think I can help too much with that, most other mods should be alright but anything that modifies the starting planet to use special mod based districts may cause errors and I can't fix that unless I make this mod completely dependent on that mod, which I rather not

@CopenhagenLongCut Yes the Origins are AI compatible, random chance of spawning naturally but you can force AIs to spawn with it as well via precreated empires
