They don't seem to work anymore. It worked but now it is just the regular bullets. I loaded it into the world in the mod settings.

Now I'm beginning to wonder what colour were the tracers of the 23 mm cannons of the Almaz-series space stations were... Because, by all chances, they had green-burning barium salt tracers exactly like these. Well done.

I took the time to test out what you linked. But I think the reload time is far too long. And I would recommend you made a custum 3D looking beam, not one that immediately says "I'M 2D" because it's kind of a turn off. The sound is fine. In fact, it's quite sexy. You should also include some kind of short charging up then the burst, but with a longer beam and consistant damage until the beam's energy output has reached it's end. Only then will it be a fantastic weapon, and not too op. (because of the charging up time and recharge time after the initial shot)

Sure. But is it a constant beam? Also, a beam cannon that don't have over stretched textures lol. Like a nice, quality, custom made texture, sound, and damage type (if possible).

I have always loved tracer rounds no matter what their fired from; a plane or a gun. They look fairly realistic too. Nice work.

ProjectileTrailProbability parameter changes just Probability of tracer in projectiles, it's random.

I hope you make a T-AP(/I?)-AP/I-AP/I belt.

So, tracer-standard-standard-standard. Every 4th brrt is a tracer after the first one.

It was done in WWII, and prevents wear on the barrel.

800m are very close for big ship combat, but okay, the dimensions in this game are also not that "consistend" :-/
but thats a prob of the developers, maybe someone like to mod eighter the general dimensions or the range of the turrets^^
but that means also an increase of the "flyrange" of projektiles due to the physics in space there is no "falloff" ;-)

okay, "realism" was the wrong word, "consistence" may describe better what i mean^^
i didnt say the mod is "worthless" or "bad", but its not consistend to its point!
the default tracing is good enough for me and consistend to the ammo used (i mean it is a material weapon - not an energy based weapon ;-)
do you now understand what i try to critic here?^^

I know there is no realism and why don't use leaser cannon from 1000km away with reader map. We need close combat with beat of gatling, roar of missiles exploding, and seeing enemies by own eyes, also blight trails, for exciting game.

@BlackRedDead Some would, regardless of realism, prefer to see what's coming their way. If you wish to speak about "unreal", then stop using gravity gens and stop building all together - because what kind of spaceman carrier massive construction grids in his pocket anyway, yeah?

Also to Arara; This looks epic. Makes battles in darker skyboxes look much better. Laser-ish, almost.

lol, are the default "tracing" are not unreal enough?!
in space is no air, but even on earth no tracer shows such a long line of light!!!
but the idea to add projectiles like laserbeams and plasma shots will be nice ;-)
