Ok ok, no rush :) Work is more important. I didn't even knew we can DM on Steam, I'll find it somehow, drop a line here when I should be checking!
Geraint  [auteur] 29 mrt om 5:33
Hi there, I've not released it yet sorry! Will send it privately over DM (works been busy so not had the chance sorry)

Hi Geraint, what do I need to download the new pbo? On the Steam Workshop page I still see March 20 as the latest update date, is it possible that the change is not in the Workshop yet? Or should I look at some other place (steam branch, whatever that is :) )?
DrNukit 24 mrt om 9:35
Of course! It's an honor being your friend, Geraint. :) I'll test it!

Just sent you a friend request as I've implemented a fix that I'd need you to check, if you're up for it.
Geraint  [auteur] 23 mrt om 11:15
That's a great idea. I'll get back to you on that as I may need to do some investigation into it - quite hard for me to test on my end.

It's very likely that the reason is that the server is running with a different Steam account (as recommended). Maybe a way to set who the "real" host/admin is?

I noticed that some other mods/missions detect who is "admin" on the server, and treat that person as the host.
Geraint  [auteur] 22 mrt om 16:46
Oh that's a very good point, I hadn't thought of that... I'll have to give it some thought!

Hi Geraint,

I'm trying to run this mission (one of my favs!) in a DEDICATED server (Linux), it just stops at the location selection, writing "waiting for host to start". How can I tell it that I'm the host, or what do I need to type on the server to start?

Thanks in advance!

@Zothen I've released an update that now prioritises buildings for the location of the crates. Some will still spawn outside, but these are simple wooden crates. Thanks for the suggestion!
Geraint  [auteur] 22 feb om 9:25
The trouble is that some locations don't have enough buildings, which means there would be very little in terms of loot crates. I could re-work the code so that they bias them towards buildings, and start to go outside if there aren't enough buildings, as a happy medium?
Zothen 22 feb om 6:46
I wish the loot would be less randomly scattered outside and more inside buildings. Feels a tad anti-immersive with all the boxes everywhere.
Geraint  [auteur] 21 feb om 6:15
@Raven that's the plan. At the moment I don't have the knowledge to do it, and I've been struggling with it. As soon as I know how I'll get right on it.
Raven 18 feb om 23:25
Any chance you could package this as an Eden/Zeus module so we can add it to our own maps?
Geraint  [auteur] 11 feb om 2:17
Oh that's interesting, didn't know that was a thing. I'll look into that, thanks!
Max Shadow 10 feb om 11:38
I was talking about a Steam Workshop collection, which groups multiple workshop items. You can configure it to allow subscribing to all of them with a single click, and if you create the collection, it shows up in each mission workshop page so people can easily access the others.
Geraint  [auteur] 10 feb om 11:35
These are released on a map basis; in other words, the mission is published via the mission (and by extension, the map) within the Editor. Therefore it's impossible to mix them all in one package. I'm working on a module that you can place on any map to run these missions, which will come in the future, but that's bringing its own set of difficulties.
Max Shadow 5 feb om 20:27
I see you added the same gamemode to multiple maps. Would you please create a collection with all the maps? that makes it easier to subscribe and favorite. Great work btw!
Geraint  [auteur] 5 feb om 15:51
That's correct, yes.
Olla 3 feb om 17:02
So this can only be played with a max of 2 players?
DrNukit 11 jan om 2:31
Thanks, Geraint! Yup, I've ended up looting the enemy's weapons together with the ammo, that worked out. I did my first completion. :) Keep up the good work!
Geraint  [auteur] 10 jan om 14:32
Thank you! Ammunition can be replenished by finding the ammunition type on enemies, or by finding a box with the relevant compatible weapon as it will always carry ammunition for the weapon. There are also rare ammunition drop crates covered in a big net, which has every ammunition type inside of it.
DrNukit 10 jan om 6:05
Great scenario, easy to pick up and fun, good job! o7

Quick Q though: how do I replenish ammo? It's not found in the boxes, and there are almost literally more enemies than I have bullets :)

Awesome work here, really like your mod. This brings the kind of experience I was looking for, coming from Rainbow Six:Vegas 2.
Geraint  [auteur] 2 jan om 9:54
My thoughts exactly! Glad you enjoyed.
Corpo.Rat 2 jan om 5:11
Seeing in description Firefights from original Ghost Recon brings so many good memories.
Nice job, good type of scenario to have in the bag when there is no time for some more complex stuff and the one wants to just shoot around for a while.
ziggy_m1 30 dec 2024 om 16:37
This is very good, and also a lot of fun to play coop.
Geraint  [auteur] 27 dec 2024 om 4:46
Correct! There are around 30 enemies, varying a little (between 28 and 33 ish) depending on what spawns.
onestar 27 dec 2024 om 2:45
This looks interesting, so is this more like a "predator vs army" type of scenario, where you use stealth and pick-off enemy units one by one? I guess the question is, how many enemies are spawned for a solo unit to deal with? Thanks!
Geraint  [auteur] 26 dec 2024 om 13:34
Unfortunately there aren't any factions as the enemies are randomly generated in terms of outfits and weapons. I'm working on there being a module that you could place into your own map, but it's looking a little too complicated (for me) to do that at the moment.
Komodo 24 dec 2024 om 9:34
hi Geraint, does it support modded factions like CUP,or the other cDLCs?
also would there be a SP scenario version of it or possibly an editor module to use for SP scenarios?
