The oath is satisfied and Shotgunners is now available for Warhammer 2. I hope I got everything tested and working properly, so please let me know of any issues.

The ideal scenario has eluded me as I've substantially underestimated the amount of work on my plate. Need a break, and then I'll get it done tomorrow. That's a promise.

Ideally I'll be able to find time to get a Warhammer 2 version compatible on Monday after work when I should either have completed my internet school work or have a trivial amount left over before then and I should have enough time that night to carry out the task.

So, if all goes well and I manage with few difficulties in implementing compatibility for Warhammer 2, I'll have it done by Monday night.

That's a shame. I'd do it, but I got no clue what I'm doing.

I'm pretty backed up with college work and work work, so it'll be some time until I can get around to this.

Oh shoot, I forgot to try to port this over. I had been trying to deal with some crashing issue when selecting a hero unit in my other unit pack before I try to publish that one to WH2 as well. Absolutely, first chance I get.
Commisar Jon Fuklaw 31 Oct, 2017 @ 1:09pm
Will this get a WH2 version?
Earth Burger®Fishless Sandwich™  [author] 26 Aug, 2017 @ 4:32pm
Oh. Oh, well, good news.
Frei 26 Aug, 2017 @ 2:42pm
Sorry it took me a bit to get back to you, was out of town a couple days and couldn't test. So, still, even with only your mod running as Angrund, I couldn't recruit them, but then I did ANOTHER verification of game files and started another new game and could recruit them. So, no idea, could have been something left behind by an older mod, but it definitely wasn't yours. Sorry if I put you through any trouble for nothing, but thank you for adding them to custom battle for Angrund!

Wish I could say I knew what was wrong.
Earth Burger®Fishless Sandwich™  [author] 22 Aug, 2017 @ 7:29am
I'll try to figure anything out on my end next chance I get.
Frei 21 Aug, 2017 @ 11:15pm
Hm, nope. I can't recruit them in campaign. I'll double check and make sure it isn't something on my end.
Earth Burger®Fishless Sandwich™  [author] 21 Aug, 2017 @ 5:49pm
Thanks for pointing that out, I forgot to account for Clan Angrund in the custom battle list. No problems in campaign? At least none on my end.
Frei 21 Aug, 2017 @ 2:18pm
These are my favorite dwarf units by far, I was disappointed there were no grudgerakers or anything from the start. These aren't recruitable for Clan Angrund, though. Is there any way you could remedy that? I like playing them a bit mroe than the regular Dwarf faction.

Thanks. To everyone, feel free to shoot some feedback if something could be tweaked, improved, or fixed.

Well done

Thought I'd go ahead and convey my gratitude for 20 favorites and 144 subscribers, as of the time at this post anyways, for this simple, little mod. It's no Radious at all nor is it anything remotely groundbreaking, but it just broke my heart that seemingly no one else had bothered to do this so I figured I'd step in. Thanks for enjoying this little trinket in the workshop, cheers to you all, and happy blunderbussing.

Heh, true enough then.
Conscript900 20 Mar, 2017 @ 5:51pm
Well its still part of warhammer and people have added other warhammer units AS is so i dont think its really a violation
and if it is well they dont care
Earth Burger®Fishless Sandwich™  [author] 20 Mar, 2017 @ 5:05pm
That'd be a nice touch, having a weapon model set apart from the standard handgun. Might be venturing a bit too far as the EULA goes, though.
Conscript900 19 Mar, 2017 @ 11:58pm
HUZZAH! if you can find anyone who knows how to do the modles you could pobably have them make a design of the vermintide grudge raker
Earth Burger®Fishless Sandwich™  [author] 19 Mar, 2017 @ 7:55pm
Read over the EULA and I think this should be okay. The Dwarfs now wield the mighty Grudge Raker, a dawi equivalent to the Blunderbuss.
Conscript900 19 Mar, 2017 @ 9:00am
Yeah i was trying to look and see if i could find anything official on Grudge rakers too. Its possible that they werent invented till the end times as well. (were talking dwarfish invention which takes pretty much ages to be approved of)
Earth Burger®Fishless Sandwich™  [author] 19 Mar, 2017 @ 6:00am
"Grudge raker?" That sounds like something a dwarf would name a shotgun. Workshop terms ask that I not include other IPs, even other Warhammer trademarks apart from this exact one, but I'll go over the agreement again and go over "grudge raker" and see if that'd be any kind of violation. I've got a day job to attend to however, so I'm looking forward to carrying this out tonight. Provided I remember, of course; my mind is like a sieve when I'm tired.

Unfortunately there was no model altering done. Alas that I am not versed in editing meshes or even textures, so the Thunderers wear the same uniform as the rest. I've seen that some texture editing could make some changes possible, like there's this mod that adds viking-themed items to a unit by what I assume is editing textures, adding some transparent sections here and there and recoloring the rest to look like lamellar and mail, and viola. Maybe I'll need to find out how to do that some day.
Conscript900 19 Mar, 2017 @ 12:32am
I dont know if you altered the modles at all for this but i would recomend that at the minimum instead of having the thunderes with blunderbuss under them why not put grudge raker instead? I dont know if its purely a vermintide thing the grudge raker but even if it is it feels VERY much like a dawi thing.

It'd be great if I could get some better ones. I'm no artist and all I've got is what an image search can provide.
t42bug 30 Jan, 2017 @ 2:37pm
Any chance for a unit car update? The Dwarf ones are alright but the Empire ones are meh in my humble opinion.
Earth Burger®Fishless Sandwich™  [author] 28 Jan, 2017 @ 3:26pm
That's true; I took it to further testing and it's not much more powerful outside of point-blanking a VIP. Still tinkering with balance on the outriders.
t42bug 27 Jan, 2017 @ 11:35pm
Eh tbh, Handgunners shred heros too given range and line of sight, its just the universal law that being badass dosent protect you from being shot.
Earth Burger®Fishless Sandwich™  [author] 27 Jan, 2017 @ 4:15pm
No one said "shotgun" back in the day, now that you mention it. For the Outriders? That makes more sense. I'll pack that in with some handgunners and thunderers armed with the things when I get around to throwing them in. Think I need to tone these guys down a smidge, too; they shred heroes when given a clear line of sight.
Zanuth 27 Jan, 2017 @ 3:39am
Heck, change the name to "Blunderbuss" and you've got gold, I'd say - from what can be seen, Blunderbusses are actually probably the most common, cheapest kind of firearm in the Empire - carriage drivers pretty much have them standard to protect passengers from Point A to Point B
Earth Burger®Fishless Sandwich™  [author] 26 Jan, 2017 @ 4:00pm
Heh, yeah that sounds like Outriders. Thanks the info.
t42bug 26 Jan, 2017 @ 12:26am
Blunderbuss style weapons are not all that rare actually, though for the Irondrakes it is probably not lore friendly, the Outriders is far from a stretch since they're all just a buncha ritch fops who hang around the Imperial Engineers and comission the biggest, baddest dakka on the regular.

best unit mod ever :steamhappy:
