Description


Palpatine's machinations and the decay of the Republic have brought the galaxy into the most destructive war it's ever seen. The Separatist droid armies threaten to overrun the Republic and no matter who comes out on top, the course of galactic history will be altered forever...

Playable Factions:
- Galactic Republic
- Confederacy of Independent Systems
- Hutt Cartels

Non-Playable Factions: (Aligned with the CIS or Republic)

- Galactic Republic Sector Forces
- Trade Federation
- Techno Union
- Commerce Guild
- Banking Clan

In Empire at War: Expanded, the traditional Empire at War tech level is traded for an era-based system that impacts different story events, factions, unit rosters and heroes are available, with the galaxy set up to recreate various conflicts within the Star Wars Legends lore. There are also new government mechanics where you can interact with other subfactions and story events in new ways, along with a planet loyalty system, giving extra income, unique units, and other bonuses at high levels, but with other negative effects if your member worlds become too unhappy with your leadership.

Older versions put on Mod Database to continue old saves. These will have several focuses.

Running the Mod

To play: After subscribing, make sure to let the download finish (see your Steam download manager, it'll say at the bottom of your Steam client), then launch Forces of Corruption. Once ingame, go to the Options menu, then Mods, and enable it from there.

If the game doesn't re-launch when you enable the mod ingame, or you want to just directly launch into the mod, go to the properties for Empire at War in Steam and paste the following into launch options:

The mod is designed for English language versions of the game, so if you have a non-English version, your text may be missing. To fix this, to into:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\32470\1976399102
And rename the MasterTextFile_English.dat to MasterTextFile_YourLanguage.dat

I would not be surprised if there was a Magnaguard unit inspired by its BF2 version with the rad launcher, but who knows if that'll happen.
Magnaguard are not buildable. I do not know of any plans to make them buildable but you do get two as escorts for Grevious when he deploys in ground battles.

I love playing this mod, it's good fun and a solid challenge for a newbie, but one of my main questions, as a CIS main, is whether this mod adds Magna-guards as individually buildable units through any special structures or anything. If not, is there plans to add them like this or a mod that does it?

Phase 1 Clone troopers have a wet/marsh terrain skin that gives them some robes to wear, inspired by a shot from the 2003/Tartakovsky mini-series.

i think i found a bit of a bug or something, my clones in the gc in a tactical battle on the ground had the colors of the 212th and Jedi robes, i had obi wan and Cody both on the ground. I was fighting on rodia, is that supposed to happen? Maybe its because it was rainy.

Survival mode has issues launching if you open it after playing a GC, I think it's something to do with the build filters. Best way to get it working is to close and reopen it to reset the filters.

survival mode doesnt work? i just have ai pathfinding lines submod on
There are known issues with the Duro mission, there was a hotfix being put together last I heard but I don't know if we're actually going to get it at this point.

Hey, first of all - amazing mod that I enjoy so much!

I was hoping you could help me out with an issue - during Operation KnightHammer, I am getting a black screen when loading Siege of Duro and the battle does not load.

Anyone experienced the same? Is there any workaround?

Running FotR and a Heroes Respawn submod
