Lost & Found Dwarfs: Earth Borer

Description
This mod adds Earth Borer mining drills to the Dawi roster. A single entity war machine equipped with a giant drill and ridden by two Dwarf Miners ready to lay out blasting charges on the move, this hardy piece of engineering is ready to plow through your enemies. Its high (for a dwarf) speed and substantial mass make it perfect for breaking through stubborn lines of infantry and its anti-large drill make it quite a contender against monstrous foes that seek to harm the clans. Along with their Underground Advance ability, they can launch sneak attacks on enemy backlines, or ambush unsuspecting foes!

Earth Borers are recruitable from the Tier 5 engineering building and are buffed by any skills or technologies that targets normal miners units.

NOTE: This is a standalone mod. All content is included in Lost & Found Dwarfs: Complete Collection.

Future Plans
  • Expand mod into a larger Miners Overhaul mod. Earth Borer unit will retain a standalone submod for those that prefer.
  • Tweak unit stats/cost based on user feedback. The goal is to be balanced around vanilla TW:WHIII.

Known Bugs
  • Selecting another Earth Borer unit very quickly (within 0.1 second) after using Underground Advance will send the other Earth Borer to the new location instead of the one that used the ability.

I know about the buildings. Just forgot to adjust it with building changes as they came. There are definitely a lot of quirks with the database, so it can be pretty easy to miss small details without the help of folks reporting bugs!

Also, I am currently working on a overhaul to my dwarf mining content, including this one, so there should be some nice changes coming soon! Including a touch up to its visuals!

@greenphoenix23 Would you please consider to change the Recruit Tunrs of Earth Borer to match the Gyrobombers? Both units are available from lvl 4 Engineering Building but Earth Borer's current Construction Turns is same as more powerful lvl 5 Thunderbarge.

Glad I can help. The issue is the logical structure of TW data table is not hierarchically thus the change the permission of lower lvl building won't automatically propagate to the higher lvl building key.

Update is out with the building recruitment fixed! Thanks for the report. I had somehow managed to fix it in the main collection, but missed it here.

@greenphoenix23 I found there is a bug when the Dwarf Engineering Building Upgrade to V the new unit become unavailable from local recruit. Possible you only add unit permission for Building Level IV but forgot to bind the same unit key to Building Level V. Would you please take a look as well?

Do you lose access to the Earth Borer if you upgrade the level 4 Engineering building to level 5? I have done this, and I no longer see it in the either the global recruitment pool or the local one.
