[Discontinued]Maintenance Tunnels

Description
[NEW VERSION] >> https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1087423713 << [NEW VERSION]

>>>ATTENTION!<<<

The following blocks will be removed from the next version (Separate mod, you can still use them with this one):
T-shaped Vent, T-shaped Internal Vent and their Cubic variants.

The reason for this is that they do not fit into the design. I want to keep blocks with extra function to minimum to avoid blocks that feel out of place or make the mod seem unfinished/lacking.

Although the 'End' blocks will remain in the mod, they will disappear on load.

When I implemented them I made a mistake (logic mistake in naming) that was also present in the subtype ID. With the release of a "new" mod, I intend to correct it.

I advise you to replace all 'End' blocks with a temporal block (f.e. a magenta cube) before switching to the new version.

<<<ATTENTION!>>>

They are only to LARGE grid. Completely suvival ready. Airtightness is slightly off on some doors, but usually it won't bother you.

Supports dev AND basic branch.

These conveyors will change your designs forever! With the ability to transport your items AND YOU, these tunnels will undoubtly prove useful in some compact large ship designs.

They are conveyors, but a special kind. You can enter them and move inside, enabling you to build passage ways and conveyors in a single block space. There are various shapes, so you don't have to worry about odd-looking tunnel webs.

Mergeless tunnels have a side which doesn't have a mount point, so you can for example make airtight, item-transporting boarding tubes.

The Adaptors are tunnels which have a vanilla-shaped conveyorline connector and a tunnel-shaped connector side.

The End types have only 1 conveyor side. These are to connect the Access (Door) tunnels with 2-sided connectors.
You don't have to use them, but these are the only way you can prevent the 2-sided tunnels glow red, as they need conveyor connector sides to show up properly connected. You can differentiate the conveyor and non-conveyor sides by looking at the 4 little pipes. If the small pipes' end is only a yellow circle, then that is not the conveyor side.
There is an example picture above.

The Internal Vent Adaptor works the same as the vanilla airvents. It supplies the tunnel network with oxygen.
The Internal Vent can supply the tunnels with air while also being able to let people pass through. However, it works 300% slower, so depending on the size of your network (and also the rooms it is opened up to) you may need to consider using an Adaptor Vent or placing more for steady air supply. They also need 300% less power to pump in the air, although the standby power requirements are the same.

The Separator is a mergeless Door, which is passable, airtight and can connect 2 tunnel sides. To Open/Close you need to "click" on the usual yellow highlight on the frame inside the door. If you can't find it, there is a picture among the images showing where it is.
Keep in mind that they DON'T transport items. All blocks with door functionality won't. That is why I added the T-shaped adaptor, so you can connect the 2 sides conveyor-wise too. As the Separator is mergeless, one side has no mount points. This had to be done to make it properly airtight. But this also means that you can create item transporting, passable and airtight boarding tubes with the following setup:
T-shaped Adaptor + Separator // Separator + T-shaped Adaptor
\Conveyor + Mergeless Conveyor // Mergeless Conveyor + Conveyor/
(You can get mergeless conveyors from my mods or other workshop mods.)

All blocks are airtight.
Currently the mod has these shapes/types (both a cube-shaped and tube-shaped)
-> Straight
-> Straight End
-> Straight Adaptor (2 sides, 1 passable, 1 vanilla-shaped)
-> Straight Sorter
-> Straight Mergeless

-> Curved
-> Curved End
-> Curved Adaptor (2 sides, 1 passable, 1 vanilla-shaped)
-> Curved Sorter

-> Hub (6 sides)
-> 5-sided (5 sides >gasp<)
-> Corner (4 sides)
-> +-shaped (4 sides)
-> T-shaped (3 sides)
-> T-shaped Adaptor (3 sides, 2 passable, 1 vanilla-shaped)

-> Access (Door)
-> Separator (Door)
-> Airlock (Door)

-> Internal Vent Adaptor
-> Internal Vent

If you like it, feel free to leave a comment, feedback (positive AND negative too, but please elaborate the latter, don't just write "It's sh*t.", because I can't fix that :D) is always appreciated!

Few details:

Yes, the curved tubes can sometimes be hard to pass through. It needs a little getting use to, best way i found is to rotate your view following the curve while you walk through them. In some angles ofc the only way is the jetpack, but through curved and straight tunnels I managed to run with little to no "vibration", so it is doable.

Sometimes it may say "Beware, It is for dev" but that is just because I forgot to switch back my version to basic (I play on dev) and uploaded from dev version. You can just simply click OK and move on, maybe post a comment so I reupload from basic.

I want to keep my mods "consistent". What I mean is that I won't add a lot of non-conveyor parts to a mod that is about item transporting blocks. I won't add things that differ a lot from items already in the mod. There may be some exceptions, but most of the time they have a good reason. So please, don't suggest stuff that would go well WITH the mod.

Example
My maintenance tunnels mod could include tunnels with lights or text panels, but those segments would not transport items. They won't be implemented, even if you ask for it a thousand times. However, there are doors already implemented. They are an exception, because even though they aren't conveyors, they serve as a closeable entrance to the tunnel system.

Thank you for your understanding.

Your daily dose of sarcasm:
By the way, I'm glad everyone reads the description. If they didn't, there would probably be people asking questions already answered all the time!

@Argual i look at that mod and to say that Conveyor Tunnels and Maintenance Tunnels very similar is a sin Maintenance Tunnels have air lock door vent for cargo access parts and
Conveyor Tunnels has non of that there just Conveyor hollowed out and say there very similar is beyond a sin it considered treason so who ever say there similar, please report Phobos so the [DCI] Firing squad can end your existence. in truth though @Argual i think you should really consider coming back to se modding February update changing the mod API for the better where mod can read the game file and other mods so the Computer Mathematics for mods be less taxing on the game

@Rubber Sword
Make sure you check out this mod, it is very similar and I am sure way more professionally done. Also, I am sorry for not working on these anymore.

@John Preacher, @Raven. I agree with you both. Having this mod restored would be wonderful. Why isn't a modder taking up this particular baton?

Wish this was still working... They look great and fit with the industrial blocks now.

My hope is that eventually, with the authors permission, someone will take over the future if this mod. This is one of my personal must have mods for the game and I would really hate to see it die do to an update or something.

thank you so much, these will be perfect for building tunnels and vent systems into buildings and planets and large ships and its gunna make a hellva lotta fun infiltrating them with friends and making custom scenarios :)

here is one similar to this:

and you can search for [PESD][Argual] for ones which have been picked up by Avatar_Phoenix, or [PESD] for mods picked up by him.

@DevotedSamurai there are two replacement mods, neither as good, but at least workable.
<Conveyor Tunnels> by Novar - basically conveyor tubes you can walk in.
<Conveyor Ducts> by Sharpsterman - Jefferies type conveyors that you need to crouch in to move through. Hope that helps.
