[WOTC] Gun Raise Animation
Gun Raise Animation for Shiremct's Proficiency Classes
Hi,

Throughout my playthroughs, I use Shiremct's Proficiency Class Pack and related plugins. To my knowledge, the "Assault Infantry" class uses an enhanced version of the "Run and Gun" ability, which is explained in the description for this mod:

By default, the mod assigns this animation to both the Sharpshooter's Serial ability and the Ranger's Run And Gun ability ('InTheZone' and 'RunAndGun' respectively), but you can expand this list adding all the abilities you want modifying the XComAnims configuration file.

I have a question: Can (and will) this mod be updated to allow the Proficiency Class Pack's Assault Infantry class use this custom animation set?

I've added these perks from Proficiency pack myself, just copy/paste them into XcomAnims in the mod folder:

AddAnimationToAbilities[2]="WOTC_APA_RunAndGun"
AddAnimationToAbilities[3]="WOTC_APA_EverVigilant"
AddAnimationToAbilities[4]="WOTC_APA_Reposition"
AddAnimationToAbilities[5]="WOTC_APA_Emplaced"
AddAnimationToAbilities[6]="WOTC_APA_ReadyForAnything"
AddAnimationToAbilities[7]="WOTC_APA_SteadyHands"

I realise this was months ago, but in case you see this...

A lot of those are passive abilities so, as the player never activates them will the new animation actually show?

I've just changed my own config to:

I'll have to see how that goes.
if you want some more patches for the anims, particulrly if your using the srw spirit commands i could provide the codes. also ive patched almost all of my classes to have at least 1 gun raised anim for their skill thats considered a superskill
