Requirements/Recommendations/Compatibility

So, I initially had this on the main page, but surprise! Turns out that the Steam mod description has a character limit. So I decided to move this topic over here, because I know that it might eventually get pretty long on its own. Since this mod just adds the aliens, it shouldn't be incompatible with anything, but please let me know if anything comes up.

Requirements

Humanoid Alien Races - Provides framework for mod

Recommendation

XML Extensions - Provides the framework for the settings. Not required if you don't want to change anything in the settings.
Graphics Settings+ - Recommended along with Camera+ to see the details better.
Way Better Romance - Recommended, I created a patch that scales the fertility to the seren's lifespan, as well as give them other custom settings.
Roo's Minotaur Xenotype and Roo's Minotaur Xenotype Expanded - Recommended, I love Roo's stuff and we included compatibility stuff in both mods. You get two new scenarios that combine minotaurs and seren.
Vanilla Psycasts Expanded - Recommended, seren from either faction can spawn as a psycaster during raids with this mod and it better fits my vision for the seren.
Psysight - Recommended, no patch needed. Fits the lore of the astropath and the hediff is automatically added to them when they spawn.

Compatibility

Babies and Children [1.3] - Compatible, I have created custom textures for babies and toddlers
Vanilla Ideology Expanded - Memes and Structures - Compatible, integrated with the seren factions' ideologies
Alpha Memes - Compatible, integrated with the seren factions' ideologies
Vanilla Traits Expanded - Compatible, integrated into the seren backstories
[NL] Facial Animation - WIP - Compatible, seren will have animated faces. I moved the ears to the correct place for the new head. However, the animated faces will not have the seren facial patterns, unless you use either of the addons listed in Recommendations that I created.
[KV] Show Hair With Hats or Hide All Hats, Hats Display Selection, and Appearance clothes [1.0-1.4] - Compatible. Seren ears will appear as normal, even when wearing a hat. However, the ears will appear in front of all hats, so I recommend turning off all hats when playing with both.
Vanilla Factions Expanded - Medieval - Compatible, seren will rarely appear when choosing pawns in scenarios.
Vanilla Factions Expanded - Settlers - Compatible, seren will rarely appear when choosing pawns in scenarios.
Vanilla Factions Expanded - Vikings - Compatible, seren will rarely appear when choosing pawns in scenarios.
Vanilla Factions Expanded - Pirates - Compatible, seren will rarely appear when choosing pawns in scenarios.
Vanilla Factions Expanded - Classical - Compatible, seren will rarely appear when choosing pawns in scenarios.
Edo Themed Expansion - Compatible, seren will rarely appear when choosing pawns in scenarios.
T's Samurai Faction - Compatible, seren will rarely appear when choosing pawns in scenarios.
The Holy Invention - Grand Apparel Paper Pattern Extension - Compatible, functionality from that mod will apply to seren.
[LFS] Genes Expanded - Blood - Compatible, the seren blood gene will be replaced by the plum blood gene to avoid unnecessary bloat.

Is it compatile with multiplayer?

I'm not able to save a preset with a Seran in it, or a character who is a Seran in Prepare Carefully.

No error message when I try to save with a character. It just clicks and does nothing. When I try to save the preset, it tells me there was a problem with the save.

I don't know if this is an issue with Seran being compatible with Prepare Carefully, or if it's a Humanoid Races thing because I don't have any other alien races. Are you aware of a problem with this?

I dug around a bit for other people with this problem. I didn't see anything, but admittedly I didn't dig hard. It's entirely possible that I accidentally cherry picked out something I needed, but I figured I'd ask just in case you were aware of the issue off hand.
