Bug Reports
Post all bug reports here please.

Issues fixed in Beta 2:
  • FIXED: Roads not appearing in asset editor
  • FIXED: Placing ungerground highway removes trees
  • FIXED: Difficulty building raised roads over undeground tunnels
  • FIXED: Zoning broken by underground highways
  • FIXED: Several exceptions in the logs (a couple of harmless ones remain)
  • CHANGE: "Pedestrian Pavement" road now called "Pedestrian Concrete"
  • ADDED: Tunnels for 3-Lane oneway road and the two Small 4-Lane roads
We expect to release Beta 2 this weekend (sorry for delay).

Bugs caused by other mods:
  • "Duplicate Prefab Name" - disable mods listed below
  • Tunnels not rendered - disable mods listed below
  • Roads menu all messed up - disable mods listed below
  • Tab icons or road customiser icon missing/broken - if you manually installed TAM, it needs to be in a folder called "Transit Addon Mod"
Mods to disalbe if you have the errors above: Traffic++, Network Extensions, TM+Improved AI, Street Light Replacer

What we're currently working on fixing:
  • Mod incompatibilities: Building Themes, Street Light Replacer break when TAM is active (major), IPT line select auto pop-up fails to display (minor), Road Color Changer not changing colour of some of the new roads (Minor).
  • Issues adding bus stops to small 4-lane roads and busways - it works, but the bus stops are just the small "bus signpost" rather than a "bus shelter", will try and make them more visible
  • Shadows on bridges not right - expecting fix in Beta 2
  • 4-Lane turning lane road shows wrong speed - expecting fix in Beta 2
  • Unable to select bus lanes for road customiser - expecting fix in Beta 2 or 3
  • Vehicle/speed restrictions not working properly - expecting fix in Beta 2 or 3
  • No options for Taxis or Bikes on vehicle restriction menu - expecting fix in Beta 2 or 3
  • Some new roads don't have tunnels or raised roads - will try and get these added over next few betas
  • Road customisations from old T++ mod not being imported - expecting fix in Beta 2 or 3
  • Some intersections missing traffic lights where you would normally expect to get them - expecting fix in Beta 3
  • Small 4L road LOD broken - expecting fix in Beta 2 or 3

We also plan to fix these:
  • Multi-track stations not working - will be added in Beta 2 or 3; until then use this mod
  • Lights in middle of pedestrian streets - confirmed bug
  • Light from rendered tunnels is seeping through to ground level at night - confirmed bug
  • End segment & intersection colour on roads look weird - we'll try and improve these
  • Pedestrian roads connecting to normal road intersections look grim - agreed
  • Central lane option of pedestrian roads missing - confirmed
  • Some intersections look grim - agreed

What we won't be fixing:
  • Pedestrianised roads assimilate each other - also affects vanilla game roads/paths, caused by base game treating narrow roads as if they are same road
  • Issue with tunnels under water - confirmed, but unlikely we will be able to fix :(
  • Pillars from raised roads extend down in to underground rendered tunnels - confirmed, but unlikely we will be able to fix :(
The bugs above would take extensive time to fix, and there are relatively easy workarounds (connect the roads at an intersection, relocate roads so their pillars aren't in tunnel, or slightly raise terrain if water is getting in to tunnels).

Unconfirmed issues that we need to investigate more:

is the .DSStore file supposed to be published?

it's just an auto-generated file on macs with folder settings, it shouldn't affect the mod
I know, I was just alerting incase it was an oversight in shipping that file.
Not sure if you want things like this but the Pedestrian Road texture into a 6-lane looks like this. Seems to be the same for all roads.

Yup, it's grim, we'll see if we can sort that out in a later beta release.
What work and what doesn't work for me: (Tested with other mods which I'm using right now and without them.)
  • Vehicles seems to freeze for few seconds, when driving through lately edited intersections. It only happens on level 3 game speed, which actually works now (wasn't working with latest versions of Traffic++).
  • I'm still able to edit bicycle path with Road Customizer Tool, same like other lanes on the road (last Traffic++ had same problem). Obviously I can change lane routing at intersections, vehicle restrictions and speed restrictions on them, but it doesn't seems to do anything at all.
  • It's not possible to edit any bus lanes (as you mentioned above). It would be great to be able to also edit bus lanes included in vanilla game roads. http://i.imgur.com/FMyJvel.jpg
  • Roads from Traffic++ (already placed on map before) are imported properly. However no other data has been imported, I mean anything related to lane routing at intersections, vehicle restrictions and speed restrictions.
  • Speed restrictions don't work at all. In last version of Traffic++ they're working on all vehicles except taxis.
  • Some of new roads don't have tunnels and raised roads at all.

  • All vehicles are detected as cars. Also you can't disable emergency vehicles - they always shows up back after some time. http://imgur.com/a/jg3Q2
  • There's still no option for Taxis in vehicle restrictions.
  • There's no options regarding pedestrian roads in settings, like e.g. disable central lane, allow trucks or something. I've noticed that central lane function is disabled by default.
  • AI works really well with Improved AI turned on. I haven't noticed any problems. On the same save Traffic++ Improved AI freezes all the time.
  • When zoomed out roads with bus lanes shows now properly, but there's issue with shadows on bridges. http://imgur.com/a/tEcy4
  • Some new roads have small problems with curves road surface marking on some intersections. Look at the road at the bottom. http://i.imgur.com/PcPgbV0.jpg
The intersection between the vanilla highway and the four-lane-highway on bridges looks like this:

This applies to all roads that have the same bridge-width, for example the 5-lane-highway and the 6-lane-highway.

Thanks for the bug reports and feedback, and the images are much appreciated as it makes it much easier for us to confirm the bugs/issues.
bug report 4 ,5 and 6 lane highway texture goes wierd when make if you use it as a off / onramp conect to a normal highway

report on the next roads i dont get automatic stoplight on a junction need to use traffic manger to switch stoplight to true , (tab small heafy road) the 3 lane one way , small 4 lane, (tab medium roads) , 4 lane white turnlanes and all 2 lane bus roads from t++ on TAM
National Road and 2 Lane Highway are being show and loaded as Two Way Street and One Way Street respectively. They are alson in the streets tab, not in the highways tab.

Tested it in a new and an old city, the same issue.

@Blackdragonbird make sure you've disabled the external Traffic++ and Network Extensions mods. TAM includes everything from both those mods, and thus will conflict with those mods if they are still enabled.
@aubergine18. I already had disabled NExt and I don't remember if I have used Traffic ++ in this save. Anyways, I unsubscribed form NExt but still the problem persist. I will disable all mods and start a new city to see if it work without problems.

If it starts working after you disable other mods, let us know which ones were disabled so we can try and track down the conflicting mod.
Yeah, after disabling all mods and enabling only TAM it worked without issues.

I have around 70 mods, there are a easier way to track what is the confliting one other than enabling one by one and starting a game?
