This game is... just spectacular in every single aspect I can think of. From the soundtrack to the action. It's immaculate. In an alternate universe, if doom didn't exist, Prodeus would be revolutionary.

It's extremely "alright." To the point where if you're not in the mood specifically for a game like this, there isn't much worth playing it for. I just ended up not feeling like playing it in the middle of playing it. It's decent, but I'm only not recommending because there's stuff that's just better and more engaging than this.

This is an "off the cuff" review, because it's only a half hour in.

I seldom buy games that just release out of nowhere from an unknown company, but this was a nice surprise.

Cute, cheap, nicely made. Doesn't outstay its welcome. I finished it in about 4 hours and enjoyed myself.

Yeah, I spent 30 hours on this dang thing. But I spent 30 hours pretty much doing nothing. It's ultra janky, there's nothing really to do that feels... worth while or (in-game) tangible. The social interaction gameplay is an interesting idea, but difficult and more of a nuisance. The AI, when asked to do tasks is also sub par. I think it has a great idea and all, but at this point, it is a subpar experience. Edited part: I loathe the practice of version numbers not following conventional mathematical premises.

I am recommending this game only based on the game itself. It is very nice. It's fun. Pretty. Entertaining. All the important bits. And, this is just for me; I hate it when originally Japanese games have English dubs with Japanese lip syncing; but this game doesn't have that problem. It calms my pet peeves.

But this price is a little dookie especially since it's not brand new and will be split into multiple parts. I'm on the fence on this game, to be honest. It's good, but I really don't like Square.

My biggest problem with AG racers is exactly why a lot of people love them. They're super floaty and slippery. This is the first AG game that feels like I have more control over the craft. I actually had a good time racing for the first time ever in an AG game. Everything else though, I didn't care for. I refunded because I realized I wasn't going to play this game enough to warrant the price tag. Maybe I'll grab it when it's on sale,

It's well made, it's good looking, great attention to detail but frankly, it gave me a damn headache. From the reviews, I can see who this could appeal to, the people who really want to take a long time to methodically do something... You know, that whole delayed gratification thing. That's fine and all, but here, it's frankly kinda annoying. I remembered an old Cabelas game that had like slo-mo and stuff like that, things that made the monotony somewhat entertaining. Here though, it gave me a headache, like I said.

What made me not want to play anymore was when I shot a deer in the skull while it was running away, and I mean directly in the brain, it only took 50% damage (destroyed trophy organ, but no vital organs hit mind you). I shot it again and hit it in the hip. 50% damage. Dead.

Then I realized I was running around looking at poop for 4.5 hours and couldn't refund the game.

Beautiful, makes my 3080 nice and hot. The game is absolutely wonderful altogether. It doesn't really feel like an assassins creed game, to be honest, and I like that because I'm pretty tired of the series. That being said, I am a big fan of this game and it deserves all the praise.

This game is good, absolutely. And they did an excellent job converting the classic turn based RPG into an action RPG. Everything is there besides the pausing between fights.

But understand, again, that this is NOT Persona 5, the turn based RPG.
