Description
This is a simple mod. It adds in a Phase Shift Teleport Skill which is the equal to some of the void teleportation skills the enemies use. This functions exactly the same as Tactical Retreat. The only differences are that this takes Aerothurge Skill rather than Huntsman and it looks different. This was a request but this mod WILL eventually make it to my huge upcoming items mod for GM Mode. However, this skillbook is already accessible in GM Mode as well.

IT IS ADVISED THAT YOU ENABLE THIS MOD AFTER MAKING A GAME SAVE TO PREVENT ISSUES.

You can find the skillbooks and such in many places.

The Hold: Where you have to go back down if you choose to save everyone. On the other side is a chest. it spawns with the books.

Act 1: There's a table by Tam, the kid at the Fort Joy Beach Waypoint. The books spawn on that table!~

Act 2: There's four on the table where Dallis' Silent Monks are. They're on the First Level of the Deck of the Lady Vengence. It's hard to miss.... Unless I put it on the second deck, but the point remains the same! Just hold Left+ALT and you can't miss it.

Act 3: Same as Act 2.

Act 4: Same as Act 2.


This was made by request from someone else. So hopefully they enjoy it and anyone else can also get enjoyment out of it. As I said, I'm making a huge collection of items for GM Mode and this will be in it, so if you wish to wait for it until then, by all means! But regardless, enjoy!~

Sounds lit there, we appreciate all the hard work! If I knew the entire process on how to make them myself I'd refrain from buggin' ya more aboit it. ^.^

I'll try @JINXXX, since right now, Phase Shift is just the equal to Void Glide due to me getitng a screw up. ;-;

However, I have learned that it's pretty feasible to make self-teleportation skills, so it's a matter of graphical effects and additional affects/balancing if any would be needed. :vanilla:

Hey, small question. Are you planning on creating more self-teleport spells in the future? Maybe with different icons and graphical effects like those of the teleports of Vredeman and that lich guy from Act 2? Would LOVE that to bits. Awesome work all around!

Seems like the huge load time is a glitch in the game, it happened with other mods, seems to happen if you have a ton of mods and adds even more in a savefile in the second act
after 25 minutes the game finishes loading, if you save after that all future loads will be normal, the game was probably sorting tables or solving mod conflicts and shit

Ditto to the last post. any modification to loaded mods, and I have 46+ at the moment, bloats the load time. But then gets better after loading a save game with no changes to your mod list, almost like it has to recompile your environment using the new values you added and check the new mod against all existing enviroment + mods.

@luisedgm - I've got quite a long list of mods and I've noticed that sometimes adding, enabling or disabling certain mods during a save does impact loading times (assuming the game is trying to compile and sort the changes is what causes it to hang up). However, despite occasionally lengthening the initial loading times, I've found that if you just be patient and let it load, it will work. Go make a sandwich, call your mom, feed your fish, do some pushups and situps, or watch some YouTube, and when you come back it'll be loaded.

After this initial loading time bloat from new mods, once you get in the game and save, you won't experience it again until you make more changes to your mod list. I know its not ideal and there might be something the mod developers can do to work around this, but it could just be limitations within the engine. Hope this helps.

I'm not sure why a lot of these issues are happening, but they're being fixed over time.

Seems to conflict with some other mods, i run other 15 mods and when i add this one the game simply gets stuck at 75% loading and the bar doesn't move anymore
I played with the load order, but the problem persists

Well, from what I know, I could just place the books down raw and it'd always spawn them, existing save or not. So I know the issue is the chest itself rather than the item. So , as an alternative, I can literally just place all the books outside of chests which will just fix everything in general.

But that's....not a good taste in my mouth as well as a bad taste in my mouth for knowledge's sake.

Ah, so that chest is always there eh?

If so then I guess that's why I don't see any books in there for the Summoner madness mods.

Mods are starting to trip over each other, I have choices to make on which ones I wanna keep :(
