Description
It's finally here! One single file that includes all the mods that make up the Manic's Units collection of modifications for Crusader Kings II.

For those that are unacquainted with this series, Manic's Units aims to add unique-looking unit designs for various cultures that either have no DLC units at all or only very period-specific ones that become extremely outdated as the game progresses (E.g. Anglo-Saxons and Christian Scandinavians still wearing Sutton Hoo helmets and Mjǫllnir pendants in 1453).

Additional Information

This mod will be updated alongside any future releases.

As my life is often a roller coaster of stress (living with acute AvPD is not fun) and my enthusiasm for creating these modifications only comes in short bursts, the timetable for new releases may vary wildly!

For those experiencing issues with the Workshop, or otherwise wish to bypass it for whatever reason, you can download a file containing all of the Manic's Units mods and add-ons here[www.dropbox.com]. Simply place both the folder(s) and the .mod file(s) in your CK2 mod folder (Documents\Paradox Interactive\Crusader Kings II\mod by default).

All of these mods are both Ironman & savegame compatible

Regarding Manic's Units for CK3

For those of you who might be expecting something along the lines of a new Manic's Units collection of mods for CK3 in the future, I unfortunately have some bad news. Browsing through the game files, it seems that all unit model elements are now combined into a single mesh file. In CK2 they are composite entities, with separate mesh files for the body, helmet, sword and shield which could easily be swapped around to create new and unique designs. As such, it's impossible for me to do the same thing for units in CK3. The only hope is that future unit DLC (which I'm sure will come) use the old format of assigning separate models for bodies, weapons and equipment.

Not compatible with HIP when playing in randomized world (possibly because of the randomized culture names option, but I am not sure)

Quick question do you know if we are able to use EU4 unit models for CK2? Are they the same structure?

Cheers Manic. Been messing around and figured out the hard way before I read your message about mixing the hold EMFXActorType with the new meshes. Should have a Elder Scrolls unit mod out soon.
