ISL - Ore Detector Trailer

A medium trailer with a large ore detector mounted (via rotor) on it, for increasing the prospecting range of small grid ground vehicles equipped with a tow hitch, forgoing the need for a dedicated vehicle such as the Vicuna Prospector.

There are hinges at the front and rear that function as tow hitches, allowing connections to either trucks or other trailers. As this is not designed as an autonomous vehicle, each trailer is controlled primarily through the use of labeled buttons, although an RC block is still present. Check the "Movement & Control" section for a list of the buttons and their functions.

This trailer is still considered "printable" although the addition of a single hinge head block is required after printing, as well as the LG ore detector sub-grid, as seen in the screenshots.

The Ore Detector will have to be attached after printing, as projections to not extend to sub-grids. To do this, drop a LG advanced rotor head onto the SG rotor (top center of the trailer), then go into the control terminal, find the "ODT Rotor" and press the attach button. The rotor should orientate itself to 0 degrees, once it has done so, place the LG ore detector and weld it up (don't forget to increase its range to maximum).

1. Pack - Trigger TB Pack
2. Unpack - Trigger TB Unpack
3. Attach - Attach hinge head to rear mounted hinge base (tow hitch)
4. Detach - Detach hinge head to rear mounted hinge base (tow hitch)
5. TB Pack - Front Hinge Unlock, Piston Retract, Handbrake Off, Lights On, Antenna Off
6. TB Unpack - Front Hinge Lock, Piston Extend, Handbrake On, Lights Off, Antenna On

This trailer has an empty mass of 9837 kgs (including Ore detector sub-grid).

All ships, vehicles & trailers in this set have a rear mounted Merge block and can be printed using a welder wall with one (large grid) piston. However in this case the merge block is designed to be ground down after printing, all blocks that require removal are painted bright red.
